13de Marzo Cafe in Pavilion KL
Plushies are all the craze lately, with even KTM Komuter having its own blind box plushie. Now imagine buying a drink and getting a free little teddy bear with it. This sounds almost too good to be true, but the viral 13de Marzo Cafe from Shanghai, which recently landed in Malaysia, is doing just that.
This spot lets you buy a latte or iced tea, and get an adorable palm-sized teddy bear plushie clinging to your cup and straw.
A fluffy friend for your coffee cup
13de Marzo is a fashion brand founded in 2018 in Paris, France. The brand’s apparel offerings feature a signature brown bear mascot called Marzo Bear. Over the years, the brand has collaborated with notable brands and franchises such as Harry Potter, Vans, and Superman.
The brand has since expanded with a cafe in Shanghai’s trendy Anfu Road, called 13de Marzo Cafe, combining fashion with not only trendy drinks, but also snatchworthy plushies. And it now has a branch in Kuala Lumpur, at Pavilion KL.
Located just next to the clothing store, the cafe has a wholesome deal: you buy a drink and get a little fluffy buddy holding onto it.
From their Coffee Series, you might want to try Rose Petal Latte (RM22) or Irish Cream Flavoured Latte (RM22). But, if caffeine isn’t your thing, you can try Caramel Toffee Milk Tea (RM20) or Sweet Osmanthus Milk Tea (RM18).
There are also varying options of refreshing drinks like Jasmine Grape Fizz (RM19), Cheese Foam Jasmine Coconut Water (RM19), and Lychee & Pineapple Iced Tea (RM19).
Once you’ve taken your pick, you get a palm-sized Marzo Bear to go along with your drink. These little bears are detachable from the cups and can be repurposed as a fashion accessory, as their palms have velcro attached to them.

13de Marzo offers cute and trendy wear featuring adorable teddies, now with a side of iced coffee and a miniature best friend that you can bring around on your shopping adventures.
You can find 13de Marzo Cafe at Pavilion KL, just across the Paris Baguette outlet in the mall. Expect a queue due to the cafe’s popularity, but it’ll be a relatively short wait for your drinks thanks to the efficient staff behind the counter.
