When it comes to doughnuts, the fillings are typically the highlight. But Basket Break Bakehouse pays attention to the texture of their sourdough doughnuts just as well, which are chewy yet fluffy and slightly firmer than regular doughnuts. To complement the doughs are a plethora of creative creamy fillings, jam-packed into them.

The sourdough doughnuts at Basket Break Bakehouse are made from scratch and takes about two days to ferment. The result is a satisfying chewiness in each bite – think sinking your teeth into clouds or pillows, and having filling ooze right out.
The flavour of fillings offered at the bakery each have their own individual charm. The zesty Lemon Sourdonut (RM9) has lemon cream filling and is topped with sweet meringue that balances the tanginess perfectly, while the Hojicha Sourdonut (RM10) has a pleasant nutty flavour and a subtle sweetness.
Other creative flavours to look out for include Pistachio Mascarpone Sourdonut (RM10), which has a sturdy and slightly sour base that perfectly complements the sweet and nutty flavours of the filling, and the Vanilla Bean Sourdonut (RM10) filled with creamy organic vanilla bean cream and topped with torched brulée.
Other flavours to try out are Pink Guava Vanilla (RM11), PB&J (RM10), and Cinnamon Sugar (RM10).
