It’s a common saying that creating art can work wonders on the soul. But let’s be honest – we can’t all be modern-day Picassos. Lucky for us, there are beginner-friendly craft workshops in Klang Valley that let us try our hand at being creative and leave with a masterpiece to boot.

You’ve likely heard of handmade ring workshops. Here’s a spot we found that lets you make your very own bespoke ring, but uniquely from delicate glass – Beary Lampwork, a glassmaking studio with hands-on classes for both ring- and flower-making in Seri Kembangan.

While melting glass with a torch or lamp to create crafts might sound new to most, it’s a popular artistic pursuit in Japan. At Beary Lampwork, just a stone’s throw from Amerin Mall in Seri Kembangan, you can try this out in their 1-day workshops that span about 2 hours.

They are operated by the same founders behind Beary Potter Studio.

Two glass-based workshops are offered here: Glass Ring-Making and Glass Flower-Making. They let you craft your very own stunning glass ring or delicate flower from scratch, while you learn more about the techniques that transform molten glass into masterpieces.

You’ll want to jio and jom your besties for an outing, as there’s a 5% off discount for groups of four or more.
