Crozza at Christine’s Bakery
Malaysians are no strangers to unique food combos – we’ve seen our share of chocolate burgers and nasi lemak ice cream before. One new creative invention that foodies will want to try is crozza – or croissant pizza. This latest food invention can be found at Christine’s Bakery in Klang Valley, which dishes up crozza with sweet and savoury toppings, including unique ones such as wagyu beef and Nutella.

Christine’s Bakery has been around since 2017. Since then, they’ve expanded to five branches across the Klang Valley, including locations in prominent malls such as Pavilion Bukit Jalil and Mid Valley Megamall.
Their signature bagels and sourdough pizzas aside, the bakery cafe now serves crozzas with sweet and savoury toppings.

A unique one to try is the Wagyu Beef (RM59), which is part of the Savory Sensation menu list. Flaky, buttery croissant “pizza” base is topped with ingredients such as wagyu beef, cherry tomatoes, capsicums, mozzarella cheese, and finally, a creamy bechamel sauce. Biting into a slice of this feels almost like a sandwich with the croissant crust.

While on the pricier side, each crozza portion is similar to a regular-sized pizza that can feed up to two in a group.

Other savoury crozza options are Triple Happiness (RM49), which is perfect for meat lovers as it comes with marinated lamb chop, roasted chicken, and braised beef brisket slices. If you’re swinging by Christine’s Bakery for brunch, consider the Breakfast Queen (RM48) – it’s a mouthwatering spread of chicken sausage, poached eggs, cherry tomatoes, capsicums, and hollandaise sauce.

Meanwhile, those with a sweet tooth can try the Sweet Sensation (RM46) – it comprises Nutella as a decadent sauce, and fresh fruit toppings such as bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. This crozza is not too overpowering, with just the right amount of sweetness.
Or opt for the Lemon Squeezy (RM43), another sweet option that has lemon curd, passion fruit, strawberries, and lychees, topped with edible flowers and meringue.
