Delicious in Dungeon exhibition in Malaysia
Only one anime can make creepy crawly creatures in a meal look good. We’re talking about none other than Delicious in Dungeon, the hit Japanese series that has captured the fascination of fantasy lovers who appreciate good worldbuilding, well-written characters, and, of course, great animated cooking sequences.
If you’ve sped through the first season and fall in the camp of fans begging for another one, here’s an event to look forward to in the meantime: this August, the Delicious in Dungeon exhibition is coming to KL’s INCUBASE Arena, following successful showings in Hong Kong and Japan.

What is Delicious in Dungeon?
Created by Ryoko Kui, Delicious in Dungeon is a fantasy-adventure manga-turned-anime that follows a motley crew of adventurers who cook and devour monsters they encounter on their journey through a dungeon. Blending humour, high fantasy, and drool-worthy animated culinary scenes, Dungeon Meshi, as the series is also known, has emerged as a cult favorite among anime fans.
What to expect at the Delicious in Dungeon exhibition in Malaysia
From 1st August until 28th September 2025, Delicious in Dungeon is reimagined as a two-part exhibition in Malaysia that promises a cornucopia of experiences for fans of the series. It’s held at Fahrenheit88’s INCUBASE Arena, which previously hosted exhibitions for Cardcaptor Sakura and Kamen Rider.
At the Ryoko Kui exhibit, fans can appreciate the art from the series’ as well as its creator’s masterful worldbuilding through over 150 illustrations, including reproductions and original artwork. There’ll also be a video zone where you can watch interviews with the artist and footage of the artist at work.
Over at the Delicious in Dungeon exhibit, there are faithfully recreated iconic sets that bring the rich world of the anime to life for photo ops – including that one of the gang in their mismatched frog suits.
And once you’re done exploring the IRL ’dungeon’, you can shop for official goods brought in from Japan at the official merch shop and have your own Laios and gang moment by dining on “monsters” at the themed cafe.
