Gigi Coffee Diner in PJ
Steaming mugs of freshly brewed coffee, plates of greasy burgers and fries, and tall cups of creamy milkshakes – these are all the makings of a classic ’50s American diner. Bringing a slice of the food and ambience to Malaysia is Gigi Coffee Diner, located at The Curve shopping centre in Mutiara Damansara.
It’s the very first restaurant by local coffee brand, Gigi Coffee. With a retro diner interior, and a menu of burgers, fries, and milkshakes, coffee lovers can now indulge in comforting diner food from the coffee shop’s new outlet.

Coffee, burgers, and a great dining ambience are what appeal most to us Malaysians. And that is why the newly opened Gigi Coffee Diner at The Curve has our attention.
Like a space suspended in time, Gigi Coffee Diner is reminiscent of a classic ’50s diner at its finest. Its playful marquee displaying an enticing burger and the flashy signs out front are not unlike that of nostalgic diners located in America.

Rather reminiscent of the famous American hamburger chain White Castle, Gigi Coffee Diner’s decor is punchy and bold with their distinctive vibrant blue adding a pop of colour to the overall earthy tones of their interior.
Push through the wooden diner-style doors and be blasted to the past. The quintessential chequered floors, leather-clad booth seats, and steel bar stools are spot-on diner trademarks. The sleek silver coffee machines and quirky wall art are clever touches that liven up the space as well.
Signature coffee, burgers, and milkshakes

It would’ve been completely blasphemous to not serve the staples of a diner – burgers and milkshakes. Besides the usual signature beverage options at Gigi Coffee outlets that are available here, you’ll find a selection of food items with flavours that are anything but bland.

There’s the good ol’ The Classic (RM16) burger with either chicken or beef patty sandwiched between glazed buns and topped with pickles, onions, and cheese, or the Spicy Cajun Prawn (RM26) with spiced breaded prawns and sriracha aioli.
Pair this with one of their milkshakes (RM18/each) for a complete diner meal – indulge in flavours such as Banofee, Cookies & Cream, and Chocolate.
