GSC reopening in 9 locations
The year 2020 was truly an unexpected one with lots of unprecedented news. No one would’ve thought that our regular routine of going to school or college, catching a movie, and partying in a club with friends would be taken away from us so abruptly with the implementation of the initial MCO.
With CMCO in place again in light of the third wave of COVID-19 infections, the nation had education institutions, cinemas, and entertainment outlets closing down. The figures in the Klang Valley are still worrying, but with other states slowly stabilising and businesses reopening their doors, Malaysians in those places may be able to look forward to having some semblance of normality back.

With the reopening, moviegoers can rest assured that GSC will have mandatory SOPs to ensure a safe viewing experience.
Aside from the usual checking in on MySejahtera and having their temperatures recorded, customers will also have to abide by the one-seat-apart rule and queue according to the markers provided. Their seats and facilities will be regularly cleaned and sanitised as well.
Wonder Woman advance tickets available for booking now
No doubt, the news of GSC’s reopening will thrill both movie buffs and non-movie buffs alike, especially when there are so many exciting blockbusters in the pipeline.
One of the films that we have all been looking forward to is admittedly, Wonder Woman. The first Wonder Woman film was a big hit when it came out in 2017. And with the upcoming sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, already receiving lots of laudable and promising reviews, we can’t wait to watch the beautiful Gal Gadot kick ass on the big screen again.

Wonder Woman 1984 officially premieres in Malaysia on 17th December, but you can book your tickets in advance now at GSC’s online portal here.
GSC reopening right before Wonder Woman’s release
The news of GSC’s reopening will bring joy to a lot of people, especially during the holiday season, as we’re sure that many of us have missed the simple act of queuing up for popcorn and enjoying a movie in the theatre with our loved ones.
But here’s a reminder to keep your mask on at all times in the cinema, follow the one-seat-apart SOP, and avoid hanging around in the mall longer than necessary!
