Halloween events in October 2025
With Halloween falling on the 31st of October, the month is synonymous with everything spooky and haunted. While kids don’t go trick-or-treating from door to door on our side of the world, our nation celebrates this festivity with Halloween-themed markets and events.
Bats, pumpkins, and cobwebs are plastered about to set the mood for Halloween.
So, here are 10 Halloween-centric events that will take place around Malaysia in October 2025:
1. The Haunted Highlands at Genting SkyWorlds

Genting Highlands has turned into a spooky playground called The Haunted Highlands, with ghouls roaming about, ready to scare you with some fun activities and offer you frightful meals. Step right through Gohtong Way, a free-entry area at the theme park, and get transported to a new Halloween-themed fest. Parades and special performances await, and a gloomy haunted house beckons your visit.

2. Halloween Brick-or-Treat at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort

Halloween has returned to the world of building blocks. LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort invites you to their Brick or Treat Halloween event from 2nd October to 2nd November 2025.
Step right up to Frankenstein’s Fair at The Beginning Stage, which opens daily during the event. You can build a LEGO spider, piece by piece, or join Frankenstein Comes to Bricks to build a massive mosaic tile of Frankenstein. You can also choose the Build-a-Monster activity to craft your very own spooky LEGO monster.

If you’re searching for a more sporty activity, join Scare Slam Dunk to challenge your aim in basketball shooting through hoops.
At The Castle, you can join the Witches Party to participate in Scream ‘O’ Meter and see who screams the loudest in your geng, or the Wicked Maze Runner to search for a way out of a maze while dodging trickster monsters.
You can also find Lord Vampyre’s Carnival in the same castle. There, you can scour through a dungeon for LEGO candy corns, or go crazy in Frankenstein’s Games Room. If you own LEGO minifigures, head to the Trick-Or-Trade Station to trade minifigures and discover limited edition Halloween characters.

3. Grim Room at Jam PJ

GrimRoom is back on 25th October. In this Halloween edition, a collaboration between Undercurrent and GreenRoom is bringing together music, art, and good vibes with live performances. This includes a spooky marketplace and other fun Halloween activities.

Prepare for a hauntingly good time at this one-night-only music showcase at the JAMBOX at JamPJ. This Halloween edition features a haunting lineup of rock, indie, and psychedelic sounds from artists such as Margasatwa, Fuad, Spooky Wet Dreams, and Golden Mammoth, promising an unforgettable Halloween night. Tickets are priced at RM88/person.
While jamming to the grim melodies, visit the marketplace, which offers free entry for all from 11am to midnight. The market features over 30 vendors selling art, fashion, crafts, food, drinks, and spooky delights. Daytime activities and special programming are also open to the public.

4. BOO! TERRA Spooky Halloween 3.0 at Terra PJ

If you’re seeking out a Halloween event to attend on the spooky day itself, search no further, as Terra PJ is hosting Spooky Halloween 3.0 on 31st October. This event is strictly for those 13 years old and above.
At this spooky party, there will be a DJ and emcee guiding you throughout the night while you munch on free-flow popcorn and a complimentary welcome drink. You will also receive free makeup kits to paint yourselves into a ghostly beauty or a ghastly ghoul.

5. Sunny Side Up Market: Halloween Edition at Slate, The Row KL

Sunny Side Up Market is back at The Row KL with a Halloween twist. On 25th and 26th October, over 30 local brands will be at the market with handmade fashion, creative handicrafts, tasty delights, and one-of-a-kind lifestyle products.
There’s no entrance fee for the market. The venue allows pets, so, bring your fur babies to a shopping trip at this pet-friendly market.

6. Kala Kelam at Central Market, KL

Central Market is a hotspot for themed events and holidays. This Halloween is no exception, as KL Life Fest has arranged a spooky community event called Kala Kelam for ghouls and ghosts alike.
The spooky event will host trick-or-treat adventures, a Halloween-themed night market, DIY Halloween crafts, costume contests, and Halloween dance competitions. You can save the haunting memory at the market by taking pictures at designated haunted photo walls.

7. Society Boo Bash at Mont Kiara

Society Mont Kiara is hosting a free entry Halloween carnival: Society Boo Bash, on 18th and 19th October 2025. The event starts from 11am to 7pm. At 2pm, children can participate in Trick-or-Treat Adventures. Then, at 4pm, kids and adults are welcome to participate in a Best Dressed Contest.
This event is suitable for families looking for kid-friendly Halloween activities with spooky treats, haunting photo booths, and game booths galore. As of now, further details are yet to be announced. But you can head to Society Mont Kiara’s Instagram page to scour for further information.

8. Spooky Glow Halloween Workshop

If you have children who love arts and crafts, My Art Studio in Ara Damansara is holding a Spooky Glow Halloween Workshop every Thursday to Sunday from 9th October to 2nd November. This workshop is open to children aged 5-15 years old. If they attend four workshops, they can get a free DIY Trick-or-Treat Candy Box.
If you wish to join a workshop, take note of the three available time slots: 10am-11.30am, 1.30pm-3pm, and 4.30pm-6pm.
If you’re already familiar with this art studio and registered your child for their classes, the fee is only RM65/pax for a session. Else, the fee is RM85/pax for new joiners. 9. Malaysia Tango Halloween Weekend Party

If you’re a passionate dancer, FAME Studio Malaysia is hosting Halloween Milonga, a Halloween-themed dance lesson as part of Malaysia Tango Weekend On Halloween. This enchantingly haunting event is led by 2014 Mundial / World Tango Champions, Sebastián Acosta and Laura D’Anna.

10. WBF Halloween Night at Chandelier, KL

If you’re someone who prefers to spend your Halloween night with a more sophisticated tone, this event would suit you. World Bachata Festival is hosting a Halloween Night event on 31st October. The entrance fee is only RM50/person, and includes one drink.

Walk among the dead in these haunted events
Many events are taking place at various times of the day on 31st October 2025. It is up to you to choose where you would like to go.
