It’s been a whopping 25 years since the first Harry Potter film came out. The fantastical wizarding world caught our hearts and can be enjoyed by people of all ages since then.
In Malaysia, a spellbinding experience is now open at Pavilion Damansara Heights in Kuala Lumpur, with workshops to make sorting wizardry keepsakes, a merchandise area to shop official Harry Potter merch, and a stamp journey to complete and redeem a freebie.
When & where Harry Potter: 25 Years of Magic?
From 20th August till 20th September 2026, Malaysian Potterheads can celebrate Harry Potter: 25 Years of Magic at Pavilion Damansara Heights. The pop-up experience takes place at the mall’s Concourse, on Level 2.
What to expect at Harry Potter: 25 Years of Magic?
Potterheads, it’s time to head to Platform 9¾, and hop aboard the Hogwarts Express. The wizarding world of the Harry Potter films is brought to life through the Harry Potter: 25 Years of Magic pop-up experience at Pavilion Damansara Heights.
Explore and experience workshops, photo spots, and merchandise like it’s your very own Diagon Alley and you’re the main character strolling through it.
Journey through the pop-up to score a freebie
Don’t miss out on redeeming an exclusive Harry Potter Sticker Pack, which contains stickers of the Hogwarts house crests and other fun nods to the film series. At the venue, there will be a QR code that will take you through three stations before you’re able to claim the prize.
Once you’ve completed them, show the proof of your participation at the redemption counter and claim your exclusive sticker set.
Craft your own celebratory hat & keychain at workshops
Here’s something for Potterheads looking to up their wizard game: Magic Workshops. The pop-up will host two fun workshops for dedicated fans of all ages, with multiple slots held on Fridays and over the weekends in August and September to catch.
The 25th Celebration Hat workshop lets you get crafty by twisting and shaping colourful pipe cleaners into a witch’s hat, and decorating it with distinctive ornaments to make it your own.
This workshop is held on 22nd-23rd and 31st August, and 5th-6th and 19th-20th September. Secure your spot at the workshop by registering online here.
Another workshop you can participate in is the Shrink the Celebration Keychain workshop. Participants can make their own keychain charm on shrink film.

Immersive photo spots & iconic installations
Immortalise your memories here by taking pictures at several photo spots that recreate scenes from the film series. Get the full Hogwarts student experience and pose in front of the impressive Hogwarts Express train that takes you to the castle-sized magical school.
There’s a red telephone booth with a red post box and Harry Potter luggage as props you can use and pose with.
You’ll definitely want to pose in front of the iconic King’s Cross Station wall that takes you to Platform 9¾.
Or aboard this Hogwarts train-style photospot with a screen mimicking the outside view.
A Harry Potter photo booth
If your camera roll isn’t already filled with photos from the pop-up, head to the photo booth, where you can choose different Hogwarts-themed photo frames that cost RM20 per two strips. Be ready to queue up for a while, as the booth takes 8 photos in 10-second intervals.
Shop exclusive Harry Potter merchandise
The trip through this world of magical wonders won’t be complete without owning a merch or two. At this enchanting anniversary event, you’ll find all sorts of Harry Potter merchandise collections.
Let’s not forget to show your Hogwarts House spirit by getting the House-specific t-shirts from Cheetah. Show off whether you’re from the Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin House.

Ready your brooms to catch this magical anniversary experience at Pavilion Damansara Heights. It opens till 20th September, so you’ll even have time to squeeze in a rewatch of all the Harry Potter films before planning a visit here – but it’ll be better sooner than later to put a stop to this muggle act and unleash your wands at the pop-up.
