HEYTEA is giving out free drinks on 7th November
Heads up, matcha latte and fruit tea fans. You’ll want to make your way to a HEYTEA store near you on 7th November 2025, as the Chinese tea beverage chain is giving out a free drink to each customer for one day only.
Why is HEYTEA giving out free drinks?
China’s HEYTEA entered the Malaysian market in late 2023 with its very first store opening at The Exchange TRX. To reach even more Malaysians with its signature drinks, its outlet at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru officially achieved halal-certified status on 17th October.
To celebrate their halal certification, HEYTEA is inviting loyal and new customers to Halal Day on 7th November. On this date, you can head to any HEYTEA store and claim a free drink.

HEYTEA is also serving the free tea with a complimentary Halal Day postcard and sticker set. This is available in limited quantities, so you’ll want to be quick to head to a store to claim this.

For the uninitiated, HEYTEA was founded in China in 2012 under the name Royal Tea, and was subsequently rebranded to HEYTEA in 2016. It’s famously known for being one of the first tea beverage spots to offer cheese tea. It also went viral recently, thanks to BLACKPINK’s Lisa posing with one of their drinks on Instagram.

There’s no minimum spend required to claim your free drink – just head to a store in person and order the free drink for yourself there. Their regular favourites will be available to order for free, including the Triple Matcha Latte, Kale Boost Tea, Coconut Mango Boom, and Cloud Coconut Blue. Just note that you can only claim it once, and extra toppings and cup size upgrades do not apply to the free drink.
HEYTEA celebrates Halal Day with drinks on the house
With HEYTEA outlets now halal certified, you can now confidently sip on your favourite herbal tea mix from them. Don’t miss out on the chance for free drinks and save the date.
