Ice Cream with MINITEEN pop-up at The Exchange TRX
It’s always sunny and hot in Malaysia, but things are about to get cooler with the Ice Cream with MINITEEN Pop-up that’s coming soon to Kuala Lumpur. The adorable characters from the K-pop group SEVENTEEN are having another event on our shores for Malaysian CARAT. This time around, it’s time around, it’s ice cream-themed.
Here’s what to expect at the pop-up, which opens at The Exchange TRX mall.
What is MINITEEN?

MINITEEN are animated characters designed by the SEVENTEEN members. These characters were introduced alongside the K-pop group’s 12th mini album in 2024, titled Spill The Feels.
The MINITEEN characters have their own concepts and corresponding releases, much like comebacks for SEVENTEEN. For their latest Ice Cream collection, the characters are dressed in adorable little ice cream outfits and perched inside ice cream cones and on cooler bags shaped like an ice cream truck.
What to expect at the pop-up in Malaysia

At the pop-up, fans can expect cutesy MINITEEN merch set against soft pink backdrops under pink-and-white awnings, and sold in packaging that mimics an ice cream shop aesthetic.

Some merch that fans can expect includes pink tote bags and fridge magnets for your cooler on the next beach trip.

There are also ice cream booth-themed photocard holders, popsicle Miniteen keyrings, and sparkly button badges.

The pop-up is also expected to have adorable photo spots for fans to pose at with the MINITEEN characters, like the ones spotted in Seoul. It’ll be impossible to pass up a snap with them here.
When does the pop-up open in Malaysia?

While the venue for Ice Cream with MINITEEN in Malaysia has been confirmed by HYBE in a poster released on their social media channels, the dates for its opening have yet to be announced. Here are the cities that this pop-up will be coming to:
- 17th July-2nd August: Los Angeles, USA at Koreatown
- TBA: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at The Exchange TRX
- 24th July-14th August: Metro Manila, the Philippines, at One Ayala Makati City
- 30th July-30th August: Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport
- 3rd-31st August: Bangkok, Thailand, at Central Park Bangkok
- 7th-30th August: Taichung, Taiwan, at Hanshin Intercontinental Shopping Plaza
- 10th-30th August: Qingdao, China, at MIXC
- 16th-30th August: Chengdu, China, at IN99 Yintai Center
Shop for summer-themed MINITEEN merch to beat the heat
Fans can now beat the summer heat by admiring the adorable MINITEEN characters in ice cream cones. Perhaps this is Seventeen’s way of reminding fans to keep cool and occasionally treat yourself to an ice-cold sweet treat.
