Watching a movie at the cinemas is thrilling enough already. Now imagine watching a show with not just surround sound, but surround visuals.
That’s Imagine Nation at Sunway Pyramid for you. This new immersive experience screens in 360 degrees, with LED screens on the walls, floors, and the ceiling of its screening room.
What to expect at Imagine Nation?
No surface is left untouched by screens inside Imagine Nation’s screening room. Picture entering a cave, with LED screens projecting scenes from a show in crisp high-definition quality all around you.
It’s similar to watching a film in 3D format, as you’ll feel like the main character and part of the action taking place on screen. But there’s no need for 3D glasses here. Just head into the room, plop down on a cushion, and watch the show unfold around, below, and above you.
Imagine Nation currently has 10 shows in its lineup, with the first screening of the day held at 10am and the last at 9.45pm. Each showing has a duration of around 15 minutes, with different showtimes for each show.
The shows vary in genres, so you’ll be able to find a viewing that interests you. There’s the kid-friendly Astro Meow, earth-exploration Wings of the World, space-travel Interstellar Migration, and the horror fest Terror Tide: The Nightmare Rush.
What are the prices for Imagine Nation?
Rates to watch a show here are RM45/pax for adults and RM35/pax for children. Kids below 90cm can enter for free. You can purchase tickets at the door.
How to get there?
Imagine Nation is located on the First Floor, just next to Sunway Mega Lanes at the mall. It’ll be hard to miss – the establishment is in neon blue.
