Channel your inner child and picture your dream playground setup: an outdoor playground with huge slides and a whole jungle gym, or an air-conditioned indoor playground complete with ball pits, trampolines, and obstacle courses.

While both guarantee fun, it’s not hard to guess which one the kids will prefer.

Whether for birthday parties or the term holidays, these indoor playgrounds in Klang Valley promise a ton of thrills for the young’uns with its extensive play stations.

Little Pirates Playland may look little from the outside. But step past its entrance and you’ll discover that this isn’t the case. The pirate-themed playground at Pavilion Bukit Jalil covers 16,000sqft of space – it even has a huge pirate “ship” for the kiddos to climb and explore.

It boasts 32 play stations with nautical themes, including ones for the daredevils-in-the-making such as zipline, climbing wall, and trampoline. At the ball pit, the kiddos can even “ride” on banana boats just like they would if they were at the beach.

Starship Galactica has been operating at 1 Utama Shopping Centre for over 20 years. But it was recently given a makeover with eye-catching neon lights and new obstacle courses, so even repeat visitors can expect to face off with new challenges.

When it comes to size, the play centre may not be the strongest contender. But it makes up for it in height. Climbing walls, trampolines, ball pits, and more are spread out in its 3-storey cage-like structure.

Needless to say, there’ll be a lot of climbing involved at the playground, so kids with high energy might just end their day with a good night’s sleep after a visit.

Note that passes to Starship Galactica allows for one-time entry, but there’ll be little reason to leave as washrooms are conveniently located inside the premise.
