Kai Xi Hor Fun Pizza at 1More Pizza
Malaysia is known for its rich lineup of traditional dishes, from char kuey teow to nasi lemak, but turning kai xi hor fun into a pizza? That’s a combination most people probably have never even dreamed of.
Cue 1More Pizza, which has introduced the fun to their Kai Xi Hor Fun Pizza to their menu, available from 10th February to 10th April 2026 for a limited two-month run.
From Italy to Ipoh

Originating from Brunei and now located in Taman Paramount, 1More Pizza already has some pretty standout pizza toppings on their menu. But they’ve recently launched three special flavours as part of a collaboration with Daniel Dines KL that has our attention.
The standout creation is undoubtedly the Kai Xi Hor Fun Pizza, which has sparked curiosity among diners wondering how this iconic Ipoh dish translates onto a pizza base.
For the uninitiated, Kai Xi Hor Fun (鸡丝河粉), also known as shredded chicken hor fun, is famous for its silky flat rice noodles served in a savoury broth made from chicken stock and prawn shells. Traditionally, the dish includes shredded chicken, prawns, bean sprouts, spring onions, and fried shallots.

At 1More Pizza, even taugeh-haters can rejoice, as bean sprouts are left out of their new pizza offering. Instead, the pizza features ingredients inspired by the classic flavours, including chicken prawn stock, prawn, shredded chicken, prawn oil, and fragrant shallot ginger oil, and the addition of fior di latte cheese for those epic string pulls in your pizza. This creates a fusion that blends familiar Malaysian tastes with Italian techniques.
This collaboration underwent three months of research and development, with the team working to transform beloved Malaysian flavours into something new while still preserving the essence of the original dish.

Besides the Kai Xi Hor Fun Pizza, two other limited-time creations are also available during the collaboration period, the Crispy Sausage & Jalapeno and Peanut Satay Lamb, inspired by Malaysia’s love for spice and satay.
