Khalid brings It’s Always Summer Somewhere tour to Malaysia
Khalid is coming to our Location again after 8 long years.
Best known for crooning hits like Young Dumb & Broke and Location, the American singer is bringing his It’s Always Summer Somewhere world tour to Malaysia, with a concert scheduled for 9th December 2026 at Idea Live Arena.

Even if you don’t know Khalid by name, it’s likely you’ve heard some of his songs on the radio or social media. He’s behind chart-topping R&B hits like Young Dumb & Broke and Location, with features on Billie Eilish’s lovely and Benny Blanco’s Eastside.
The singer was initially slated to return to Malaysia for his Free Spirit World Tour at Stadium Melawati in 2020, following a headlining gig at the 2018 edition of Urbanscapes. However, the concert was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Eight years on, he’s returning to KL for a one-night concert.
It’s Always Summer Somewhere heads to Malaysia
After selling out the U.S leg of his world tour, It’s Always Summer Somewhere, Khalid will be making rounds across Europe, Mexico, and Australia, before moving onto Asia in November and December. Fans can expect him to perform hits from different eras in his career, including new songs from his latest album After the Sun Goes Down.

- Singapore: 24th November
- Bangkok, Thailand: 29th November
- Hong Kong: 1st December
- Tokyo, Japan: 3rd December
- Seoul, South Korea: 5th December
- Taipei, Taiwan: 7th December
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: 9th December at Idea Live Arena

The presale dates and registration for the concert are divided into four different categories.
- Artist Presale starts on 13th July from 11am till 11.59pm
- Mastercard presale will begin on 14th July at 11am and end on 15th July at 11am
- Live Nation presale starts on 15th July at 12pm until 11.59pm. You can register for the presale on Live Nation Malaysia’s website.
- General sales start from 16th July at 11am onwards
