We’re always curious about new spots for good grub and pop-up markets.
This May, there’s Market Lane at The Exchange TRX to explore. While TRX is already packed with food options to keep us curious every weekend, this new boulevard of eateries has several worth-it food deals to check out from now till 1st June 2025 to celebrate its launch.
From RM2 tamago yaki from Japan’s Momo Yakitori’s first branch in KL, to 10% off signature combo meals at Hot Bird, you can expect to wander, snack, and soak up seriously good vibes at KL’s new lepak spot.
A modern-day street market at a mall
Market Lane is a creative strip located on the Ground Floor of The Exchange TRX. It comprises a stretch of 11 eateries and retail shops, and a lane for rotating street markets that face a road, outside the mall.
Picture a modern-day street market, with street food and contemporary bites, good live music, and pop-up bazaars – kind of like the bustling food streets you’d see in destinations like Taiwan and Japan.

The eateries here include Singapore’s Chulop! with its pandan- and chocolate-flavoured churros, the buzzing cafe-meets-bar Lane 23, and Yoursnackies Dessert with its array of adorbs-looking sweet treats.

For Market Lane’s launch, there are a series of weekend activities to check out from now till 1st June. The zone has been transformed into a mini street fair of sorts, with live music from TONGTONG Asia, interactive art and silkscreen workshops, and a cheeky pop-up market brought to you by the ever-playful Messy Club.

Running alongside the launch of Market Lane is the return of TRX Eats, a month-long celebration of food that transforms The Exchange TRX into a culinary playground. Whether you’re up for something sweet, savoury, grilled, or chilled, there’s a bite for every craving and a deal to match.
