Mr Bean Experience at Pavilion Bukit Jalil
If that familiar doo-doo doo-doo-doo tune from Mr Bean just played in your head, you’re not alone. To celebrate 35 years of laughter, a Mr Bean Experience opens its doors at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in KL on 1st November 2025.
Featuring a themed cafe and a galore of nostalgia-inducing photo zones, this pop-up experience is dedicated to the wonderfully odd world of a man who turned everyday mishaps into comedy gold without uttering a single word.
What to expect at the Mr Bean Experience
Located on Level 3 at the Pink Zone in Pavilion Bukit Jalil, the Mr Bean Experience welcomes fans of the British chap into a world of laughter and nostalgia. It’s hosted by Acolab, the same team behind previous pop-up experiences for Chainsaw Man and Crayon Shin-Chan.
Step inside the photo zone exhibition portion of the experience, and you’ll be met with eight photo spots that’ll launch you straight into unforgettable live-action Mr Bean episodes. First up is the Bean’s Christmas zone, where you’ll meet Mr Bean in his apartment, at the precise moment he gets his head stuck in a massive turkey.
At the highlight Bean’s Armchair, a replica of Mr Bean’s iconic yellowish-green-and-black Mini 1000 takes centre stage. It’s complete with a mop sticking out of the vehicle’s open window and an armchair strapped on its roof, bringing the beloved Do-It-Yourself Mr. Bean episode to life.
Other episodes featured at the exhibition include Bean’s Park Fun, where you can play a game of mini golf – sans the frustration of chasing down the ball, of course.
There’s also Bean’s Laundromat, which has a wooden bench under a laundry line featuring a wash-shrunken Teddy, Mr Bean’s ubiquitous red tie, and, ahem, his unmentionables. And at Bean’s Barber Shop, you can take part in the shenanigans that unfold when he takes over a pair of scissors and chopping duties.
Once you’re done exploring the exhibition, you’ll enter a merch shop where you can buy everything from socks (from RM50) to passport covers (from RM58) and a bomber jacket (RM309) featuring animated Mr Bean and Teddy.
A cafe with themed Mr Bean mains
Don’t miss out on the cafe, as there’s a delicious mix of mains, desserts, and drinks crafted with nostalgia and an imagination that is as unpredictable as Mr Bean himself.
Try the Teddy Burger, which looks almost too adorable to eat, and Bathtub Pasta, a chicken bolognese spaghetti that captures all his signature silliness in edible form. There’s also the Big Brekkie, a classic breakfast set with a chicken patty, scrambled eggs, and a Teddy-fied toast.
Drinks come with playful twists too, such as the Matcha Red Bean Latte that nods cheekily to his name and the Green Lemonade, which has a refreshing burst of colour and flavour.
You can watch animated Mr Bean episodes while dining inside the cafe, and snap pics at a quintessentially British photo zone featuring Mr Bean.
