1. Stitch-themed Children’s Festival at Gardens by the Bay
Singapore – 24th May to 15th June
Family means nobody gets left behind. That’s what it’ll feel like when you visit Gardens by the Bay’s Children’s Festival this year. The Singapore landmark currently has four interactive Disney’s Stitch-themed installations that Lilo & Stitch fans will have fun exploring for free with the whole fam – just in time for the film’s live-action release and the school holidays.
If you have a kid who is into slides – which kid isn’t? – check out the Great ‘Ohana Wave. The little ones can get on a float and shoot down a giant slide that curves around a Supertree at the Supertree Grove. Similar to a mission, the Forest of Belonging is where everyone in the ‘ohana can go through this inflatable playscape to discover hidden words and messages.

Making a comeback at GBTB’s Children’s Festival this year are carnival game stalls – this time with space and island themes inspired by the beloved Stitch and a retail pop-up where you can purchase adorable Stitch-themed merchandise that launches first at the Children’s Festival.
There’ll also be stage performances from Cake Theatre and a range of workshops that let you craft items like flower wreath keychains, and interact with plants. Do take note that fees apply for carnival games and workshops.
End your day-long adventure with a free light and music show, The Way To ‘Ohana, at 7.45pm and 8.45pm. Rest your legs and just enjoy being with your family while the Supertrees come alive all around in a spectacle of lights synchronised with music inspired by Disney’s Lilo & Stitch.
