Located in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Furrito Haus Cafe is a beloved spot among pet lovers thanks to its star: Snowy, a fluffy alpaca that roams the cafe freely. According to the cafe’s owner, Snowy hails from Australia and is treated like her son. But the alpaca isn’t their only baby – the cafe is also home to other furry and scaly pets such as hedgehogs, chinchillas, snakes, meerkats, two giant poodles and even a skunk named Scooby.

As for food, the cafe serves Western and Asian cuisines. Their signature dish is the HK Series Spicy Claypot Chicken (RM18.90)Â with well-spiced tender meat. Another highlight is the traditional Curry Noodles (RM17.90) and their lunch sets that are available from Mondays to Fridays, between 11am and 3pm.
If you are in the mood for something sweet, you can try their melt-in-your-mouth Chocolate Waffle with Ice Cream (RM21.90) or their simple yet classic Waffle with Butter and Maple Syrup (RM15.90) that is also a must-try.

2. Callduck Coffee Shop, Ipoh – a duck-themed cafe with actual ducks

Quack open a good book and enjoy a cup of joe at Callduck Coffee Shop in Ipoh. With friendly ducks waddling around, the cafe is the perfect place for you to level-up your Instagram posts – imagine a photo of you cuddling a duck on your feed.

3. Fangs by Dekori, Subang Jaya – get up-close with snakesÂ
If you’re into cold-blooded companions or creepy-crawly animals, Fangs by Dekori should be on your radar. Here, you can get up close and personal with a variety of reptiles while savouring your desserts. And those daring enough can get the chance to hold these reptiles in your bare hands, with proper instructions from the staff.
Fangs has a more nature-inspired decor than other Dekori locations, but the cuisine is the same, with the exception of Dekori’s specialty dishes that include waffles and taro balls. Nonetheless, Dekori offers two varieties of desserts. Their signature bites are Chocoreo (from RM12) and Chocolate Salted Caramel Waffle (RM14.50).

4. Luckbros Kopi, Petaling Jaya – aesthetic cafe with a petting zoo

Luckbros Kopi is a cafe with more than just your regular cafe-friendly pups and felines – they have a petting zoo that houses farm animals such as goats and ponies. The cafe’s branch in Kota Damansara is their third outlet and where you’ll find the mini zoo, following their maiden branch at Petaling Street and their KLIA branch.
To explore the petting zoo, there’s a small entry fee of RM10. Getting up close with the ponies or reptiles might be a wild ride, but don’t worry – they are as friendly as their baristas.

Once you’re done meeting and snapping pics with the animals, head inside the aesthetic cafe, which boasts a cosy and inviting atmosphere. They serve various kinds of food including local delicacies, Western food, appetisers, and desserts, as well as shellout-style dining from 5pm onwards. All outlets maintain the same menu, and they are pork-free. Their signature dishes are Nasi Lemak Sambal Udang (RM16.90), Salted Egg Chicken Chop Rice (RM15.80), and Cendol (RM6.90).

5. Hornbill Restaurant & Cafe, KL – dine with exotic hornbills

At Hornbill Restaurant & Cafe, you can enjoy your meal while gazing at majestic hornbills in their natural lush greenery environment. The cafe is tucked inside in the dense rainforest of KL Bird Park, with an alfresco dining area made up of an expansive open verandah overlooking the treetops. Various birds of prey often perch upon the railings, just next to the dining tables – patrons can look forward to getting a visit from the likes of the Rhinoceros Hornbill and more.

As for food, the restaurant offers Malaysian, Italian, and Thai cuisines. If you are vegan, they also offer vegetarian food as well. Although their food is on the pricier side, their portion serving is enough to fill your tummy.

Corgi’s Talk Cafe is a luxurious paradise for corgis, tucked away in a cosy area of Eco Botanic in Johor Bahru. It is most definitely difficult to miss if you are in the area. These floofballs have their own wide area to run around in, and there’s even a small stage with steps for photo ops with them.
You shouldn’t worry about feeling left out because one of the ten or more corgis, along with their resident husky, will undoubtedly be cuddling up to you while they search for some treats.

You can choose from a variety of complimentary drinks with entry fees starting at RM26 for adults and RM18 for children – their sparkling beverages include flavours such as mango, peach, orange, grape, and grapefruit. But the Happy Package (RM38) is unquestionably the one you should get if you want to really experience the cafe and the corgis. You can get a main course and a drink, as well as playtime with the corgis on the second floor.

On a side note, each entry ticket guarantees a 60-minute session on the weekends and 90 minutes on weekdays – so opt for the latter, that way you can maximise the amount of quality time you plan to have with the corgis.

7. The Noah, Kota Kinabalu – exotic pet cafe that serves local delights

A cafe with a cause, The Noah is a sanctuary for rescued animals. Here, you can enjoy a cup of coffee while learning about the importance of animal welfare. It’s a heartwarming experience that’ll make your coffee taste even better.
This spot was set up as a small educational sanctuary for local children to have the opportunity to come visit and learn about exotic animals. Patrons are welcomed to pet, snuggle, feed, and spend time with exotic animals too. Some of the popular pets here include prairie dogs, meerkats, and two raccoons adorably called Coco and Melon.
To avoid overwhelming the animals, you’ll have to make a reservation for a specified time slot before your visit. There are 10 sessions per day, every 30 minutes from opening till closing. To make a reservation, you can send them a DM on their social media, and filling up details for the date and session preferred, as well as the number of people in your group, name, and phone.

As for food, The Noah has teamed up with noodle specialists, Sada Sogigisom, to serve their signatures including fish noodles (from RM16) with 10 different types of soup options. Their popular soups worth trying are tom yam, creamy pumpkin, and salted vegetable with white tofu soup.
