Pop Mart’s new outlet at The Exchange TRX
The Pop Mart – or blind box – craze has not quite fizzled out for many of us. While there are six Pop Mart stores across Klang Valley already, there’s a new one opening at KL’s buzzing The Exchange TRX for LABUBU and CRYBABY fans to hunt out their favourite collectibles in the city.
The store is slated to open on 19th April 2025, with a slew of opening specials. Here’s everything that we know about it.
What you need to know about Pop Mart at The Exchange TRX
Pop Mart’s first store opened in Malaysia in 2023. The Chinese toy company is expanding further with a new store in KL at The Exchange TRX. It’ll be the brand’s third store in the city, following the ones at Pavilion KL and Pavilion Bukit Jalil, and its seventh in Malaysia.
The latest Pop Mart outlet will be situated at the Concourse Level within The Exchange TRX, near the MUJI and UNIQLO outlets in the mall.

As expected of Pop Mart, the new store won’t be opening their doors without fanfare for blind box enthusiasts. They’ve been teasing new launches and the availability of blind box collections that shoppers can only get their hands on via pre-orders at their Malaysian outlets.
Find classic blind boxes figures stocked at the store, such as CRYBABY Crying For Love, HIRONO Echo, HACIPUPU Snuggle With You, and SKULLPANDA The Mirage series. Those looking to add another keychain to their bags can also snag one from the CRYBABY Crying Again, PUCKY BEANIE Bubble Up, and SKULLPANDA Winter Symphony series.

LABUBU fans will want to have their wallets prepped – plush dolls and keychains from THE MONSTERS’ Let’s Checkmate, FALL IN WILD, FLIP WITH ME, and Time to Chill series will be available in stores, as well as ultra-rare ones like the ANGEL IN CLOUDS and I FOUND YOU vinyl face dolls.

There’ll also be Mega Collections in stores, including mega-versions of SPACE MOLLY, JUST DIMOO, CRYBABY, and SKULLPANDA.

Apart from restocks, there’ll be opening exclusives to buy, including a LABUBU Shepherd Figurine and Hedgehog Figure for RM130.80 each, and a CRYBABY The Cracked Peanut that can be purchased at the same price on a lucky-draw basis. The MOLLY MOZERO will launch in Malaysia at the store too, with a limited 30 units available.
Those splurging on blind boxes can look forward to snagging freebies like a Sziga Let It Be series luggage tag when you spend RM500, and a The Monsters Almost Hidden inflatable sofa when you spend RM1,200.
A queue system for opening day
As crowds are anticipated, Pop Mart is limiting purchases at their new The Exchange TRX store to 1 piece or 1 full case per person on a single receipt. A checklist form will be given to each shopper in queue, with items available on a while-stocks-last-basis.
The official queueing area will be at the covered MRT Plaza Entrance, located between the MUJI and UNIQLO outlets at the mall. A QR code will be released on Pop Mart’s Facebook and Instagram pages on the opening date, at 9.30am.
Once you’re registered online through the code, you’ll be given a queue number, which allows you to fill up a checklist, enter the store, and make your purchases ahead of the walk-in queue. Queue numbers will be called at 10am.

The opening of Pop Mart at The Exchange TRX means one more place to shop for blind boxes in the heart of KL. With exclusive merch and guaranteed restocks on its opening day, you’ll want to circle 19th April 2025 on your calendar and plan a visit to the store.
