In the statement released by TNB, they’ve shared that there is a current disruption of the electricity supply and apologised for the inconvenience, with their technical teams currently on site to carry out repair works.
In a more recent update, TNB shared that Johor and Perak have also been affected, including Ulu Kinta, Pasir Gudang, and Johor Bahru. It has been reported that the power outage in parts of Klang Valley and JB was due to an incident at Edra Power Plant, a power plant, in Melaka.
Power supply to be restored soon
TNB has also reminded Malaysians to be careful at handling electrical equipment at this time, as the supply may be restored at any time.
Hopefully, the power supply resumes soon, so we can be back to our evening routines without disruptions.
