The public advised to seek travel alternatives

To manage traffic and ensure smooth operations, the PDRM will deploy around 378 personnel for escort duties, traffic control, and road closures.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and avoid the affected roads during the specified times by utilising public transportation. Likewise, the public is urged to remain patient and follow the instructions given by the traffic personnel stationed along the roads.

As access to KLIA Terminal 2 will be temporarily restricted during the road closures, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has advised travellers to use alternative travel arrangements during this time. The terminal can be accessed via KLIA Transit from Terminal 1.

Likewise, those making their way to KLIA Terminals 1 and 2 are advised to utilise the KLIA Transit train from KL Sentral, Bandar Tasik Selantan, Putrajaya & Cyberjaya, or Salak Tinggi, and the KLIA Express train from KL Sentral to and from KLIA Terminals 1 and 2.

Plan your trips in advance

With major highways affected, road users will want to plan their trips ahead of the scheduled closures to ensure smooth commutes and travels. While these closures may cause some inconvenience, they are expected to last only 30 to 45 minutes.
