Seventeen’s MINITEEN HOUSE PARTY pop-up in Malaysia
If you’re still not over Seventeen’s Mingyu making an appearance in Malaysia recently, we’re with you. That’s why we come bearing another piece of news for Seventeen’s CARATs to get excited about: The MINITEEN HOUSE PARTY pop-up, which is now open at Sunway Pyramid until 7th September 2025.
Here’s everything you can expect in a visit there.
What is MINITEEN?
Think of MINITEEN as the miniature versions of SEVENTEEN.
They each represent a member in the group and are known collectively by the name MINITEEN. The MINITEEN lineup comprises Choitcherry (S.Coups), Jjongtoram (Jeonghan), Shuasumi (Joshua), O.C.L (Jun), Tamtam (Hoshi), Foxdungee (Wonwoo), Ppyopuli (Woozi), THEpalee (The8), Kimja (Mingyu), Doa (DK), Bboogyuli (Seungkwan), Nonver (Vernon), and Chandalee (Dino).
The animated creatures were launched alongside SEVENTEEN’s 12th mini album, Spill The Feels, in 2024.
Most of them look like animals, with some downright adorable renditions of a rabbit and deer, but make them pink and fuzzy, respectively. Other animated inanimate objects include a cloud, a tangerine, and steamed rice. And then there’s Vernon’s simple human character that’s basically the rapper in animated form.
How to book a slot to visit the MINITEEN pop-up in Malaysia?
From 20th August to 7th September, the <MINITEEN HOUSE PARTY> SEVENTEEN Official Character POP-UP will be open in Malaysia for local CARATs to stock up on licensed merch of the band. The pop-up is taking place at the Ground Floor of Sunway Pyramid, by the Water Feature Zone, from 10am to 10pm daily.
You’ll have to make an online advanced booking before attending the MINITEEN pop-up, which can be done on the KKTIX website here. There are 12 sessions to choose from throughout the day, with each slot granting up to 60 participants access to the pop-up store for 45 minutes at a time.
It’s an additional step to visiting the pop-up, but it also means that you won’t have to queue for long to enter the store or be squeezing your way through the aisles to get your hands on merch. Depending on footfall, walk-ins to the MINITEEN pop-up may be allowed from the second week onwards.
What are the merch items sold at MINITEEN pop-up?
Needless to say, you’re here for the merch, and trust us when we say that you’ll be browsing for hours.
Find character pouches (RM179), Miniteen-speckled blankets (RM239) and pajama sets (RM475), beach towel (RM199), Carat cap (RM108), and adorable mini mood lamps (RM259).
To protect and decorate your many versions of CARAT Bongs, there are official light stick covers (RM135) of each MINITEEN character, as well as the official light stick strap (RM199) to secure your lightstick so it doesn’t go flying while you’re waving it at a concert.
If you’re just looking for a tiny new addition to your backpack or purse – or just to go all out like Vernon on that one Going Seventeen episode – the pop-up has a variety of accessories to CARAT-ify your belongings. They include magnet plush keyrings (RM169/each), pin badges (RM95/each), and pop sockets (RM38/each).
For a DIY keepsake, head to the keychain customisation counter. Here, CARATs can personalise a bespoke souvenir in the form of keychains decorated with official Miniteen character charms. Larger character charms cost RM15 each, while smaller decorative ones are RM10 each.
The pop-up is also decorated with various photo zones where CARATs can strike for some photos with their favourite MINITEEN characters.
The MINITEEN pop-up is now open in Malaysia
We can never have too much merch of our biases. Until 7th September, CARATs in Malaysia can turn to the pop-up to shop for a variety of MINITEEN goods to rep the K-pop band and its members. The pop-up will be around for just over two weeks at Sunway Pyramid – plenty of time to squeeze in a visit or two.
