Skyline Hyfly by Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur
Nothing takes our minds off the humdrum of work and school quite like a roller coaster ride. Coasting down twists and turns, at fast speeds? One word for us adrenaline junkies: yes.
For those in KL, there’s a new attraction to experience soaring over sweeping landscapes: Skyline Hyfly. This new zipline attraction at Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur lets you coast twists and turns through the skies, with good views and the breeze all around, just like you’re on a roller coaster.
What to expect at Skyline Hyfly?
Skyline Hyfly is Asia’s first zipline that uses a cable-to-rail system. This allows for mid-air changes in directions, so you’re not just zooming down a straight line like on a traditional zipline. You’ll get to experience all the thrills that come with the bends in a roller coaster, with a safety harness to keep you strapped in while you “fly” at speeds of up to 60km/h.
With its dual zipline system, the zipline allows multiple thrill-seekers to be launched simultaneously, so you and your bestie can experience the thrills together. Once you’re out on the 380m zipline track, you’re greeted by breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills and greenery.
At the end of the zipline ride, you’re given two options to descend the endline tower: a thrilling 15m freefall jump with professional supervision, or a staircase for a calmer, adrenaline-free descent.
Who can ride on Skyline Hyfly?
Individuals of all ages are welcome to try Skyline Hyfly, as long as they pass the minimum and maximum weight requirements, set between 30kg and 140kg. If anyone is between the weights of 30kg and 39kg, they must ride with another person to achieve a combined weight of below 140kg.
As for the free-fall jump, the weight requirements are between 40kg and 120kg.
It’s important to note that pregnant women, individuals under medication for any physical or mental illness, and anyone with heart conditions, back or neck problems, or other medical conditions will have to skip this ride for their safety.
Where to get tickets to Skyline Hyfly?
You can skip the queues and buy tickets to the new attraction online via Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur’s website. If you’d like to enjoy just the Skyline Hyfly ride, the tickets cost RM90 for a single ride. You can add on another Skyline Hyfly ride for RM50.
There are also available packages that include trying out the zipline attraction, along with 3-5 luge rides, that start from RM110.
