Solo Leveling Experience in KL

There’s more than just the Season 2 drop of Solo Leveling for fans in Malaysia to get excited about in January 2025. We’ve come bearing good news: a Solo Leveling Exhibition opens in Kuala Lumpur at Pavilion Bukit Jalil from 11th January to 11th March.

Here’s what you can experience at the exhibition.

What you can expect at the Solo Leveling Experience in KL

Even if you’re not chronically online, you’ve likely come across a meme depicting characters bowing down to a stone statue, used to rank things and indicate supremacy. For the uninitiated, the image is from the Webtoon-turned-anime Solo Leveling, which follows Sung Jin-Woo in a game-like world where hunters of different ranks fight the menacing bosses of dungeons.

For 2 months, Pavilion Bukit Jalil will hold a Solo Leveling exhibition in Malaysia – including a photo op with the dungeon from the viral meme. The team behind the showcase, ACOLAB, brings the series to life after previous installations for Crayon Shin-Chan and Jujutsu Kaisen.

You’ll get to experience a slice of Jin-Woo’s world, with four zones that replicate the dungeons and bring to life the bosses from the series. We won’t spoil it too much for you, but you can look forward to immersing yourself in the Cartenon Temple, or Double Dungeon, complete with a stone pedestal and an ominous Statue of God, where pivotal moments take place in the series.

Face off with the fearsome dungeon bosses that Jin-Woo battles in epic fight scenes from the anime, including the Giant Arachnid Buryur, Giant Desert Centipede, and Blue Venom-Fanged Kasaka.

There are even prop weapons that Jin-Woo uses in the anime scattered around the exhibition, including daggers of different ranks to match Jin-Woo before and after he levels up, so visitors can put themselves in the shoes of a hunter while striking their best pose for photos.

A merch shop and themed cafe
