You can find several nature attractions in Serdang, which sits on the outskirts of KL. Ladang Farm Fresh is one of them. This farm offers visitors a refreshing change of scenery from the usual cityscape – spot a red farmhouse surrounded by picket fence and a sea of green grass, and hear the moos and bleats of farm animals.

To make the most of its scenic space, the farm now has a restaurant on its grounds called The Acre, which has been attracting city folks looking to explore places beyond shopping malls and cafes in the Klang Valley.

Farm-to-table Western and Asian dishes
Embodying a farm-to-table philosophy, the restaurant sources fresh produce from the farm for its Italian-inspired and local dishes. Their menu is extensive too, comprising sharing platters, mains and desserts.

If the Malaysian in you cannot forgo a proper local dish for mealtimes, opt for the restaurant’s Nasi Kerabu Ayam Percik (RM24) or Johor Laksa (RM30), both familiar local dishes made all the more authentic with homegrown produce.
There are plenty of dishes to share if you’re coming in a group too, such as Meatballs & Pomodoro (RM20) or their selection of pizzas with options that include Napolitano Pizza (RM31) and Sambal Petai Pizza (RM34).
To finish your feast off on a sweet note, order the Mango Panna Cotta (RM23) or Tiramisu (RM24). If not, you can satisfy your sweet tooth at an ice cream stall here called Cream Hauz, or at JomCha a bubble tea joint.
