Disney’s The Lion King Live In Concert in KL
Malaysians can immerse themselves in the heart of the Pride Lands on 13th June 2026. Disney’s The Lion King Live In Concert, an orchestral performance of The Lion King’s suite of songs, opens in Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur’s Plenary Hall in KL Convention Centre.
What is The Lion King Live in Concert?
Even if you haven’t seen the movie, you probably have heard of Hakuna Matata and the Circle of Life, two iconic songs from the original 1994 Disney film.

At The Lion King Live In Concert in Malaysia, concert-goers will hear songs composed by Elton John and Tim Rice, and the score by legendary Hans Zimmer, performed by the Malaysia National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) led by conductor Mr Eric Lee.
Accompanying the orchestral performance are scenes from the film projected on a huge screen behind the orchestra, so you can fully immerse yourself in the expansive music and iconic movie.

When is The Lion King Live in Concert taking place in Malaysia?
The symphonic performance of The Lion King is presented by Disney Concerts, which holds symphony orchestras around the world for beloved films like Toy Story, Star Wars, and The Muppets Christmas Carol, in collaboration with Milestone Production.

The concert in Malaysia will have two sessions on the same day, 13th June, at 2.30pm and 8pm.
What are the ticket prices for the concert?
Ticket pricing for the concert will vary depending on seating category, with general seating tickets starting from RM168. Here are the ticket prices for the concert, with tickets going on sale on Etix’s website:
- CAT D: RM168
- CAT C: RM268
- CAT B: RM368
- CAT A: RM468
- VIP: RM538
- Premium: RM638
Meanwhile, United Overseas Bank (UOB) cardholders are entitled to priority access to ticket purchases and get up to 25% off tickets. Ticket sale dates and registration for the concert are divided into three categories:
- UOB Visa Infinite Metal Card, UOB Zenith Card and UOB Privilege Banking Visa Infinite Card presale will begin on 25th March at 11am and end on 26th March at 11.59pm
- UOB presale (applicable to all UOB cards) will begin on 27th March at 11am and end on 31st March at 11.59pm
- General sales start from 1st April at 11am onwards
