The Monsters Wacky Mart pop-up at Sunway Pyramid
The mini Labubu is the latest release from the cult-favourite POP MART character. But if you’re still pining over the adorbs food-themed Wacky Mart collection, head to Labubu’s The Monsters Wacky Mart pop-up, which finally hits Malaysian shores on 1st October 2025.
With pre-registration required for entry, we rounded up all the need-to-knows about The Monsters Wacky Mart event in Malaysia, which will be located at Sunway Pyramid.
What is The Monsters Wacky Mart?
For the uninitiated, POP MART released a collection called Wacky Mart in June. The series features 12 blind box figurines of Labubu in various, well, wacky costumes themed around foods you can find at a convenience store. We’re talking Labubu, cheekily dressed to look like an onigiri, cup ramen, and even a deep-fried shrimp.
To coincide with the collection, POP MART launched a pop-up store called The Monsters Wacky Mart, which has dropped by cities like Hong Kong, Bangkok, Shanghai, and Singapore. It makes its way to Malaysia next, and will be around from 1st to 31st October 2025 on the Ground Floor, by the water feature, at Sunway Pyramid in Subang Jaya.

Based on The Monsters Wacky Mart pop-ups in other cities, the pop-up in Malaysia is expected to bring a mart-like shopping experience for Labubu collectors in town. We’re talking about a “mini market” that has items from the Wacky Mart collection available to purchase, including pop-up exclusives like the coveted Labubu Blister Pack.

The pop-ups in Hong Kong and Singapore also feature blown-up versions of Wacky Mart Labubus, soaking in a cup of instant ramen and sitting in a bowl of chips, for photo ops.

How to register for entry to the pop-up
As queues of eager Malaysians are expected at The Monster Wacky Mart, like at previous pop-ups for DIMOO and MOLLY, pre-booking and registration is required to enter the pop-up – walk-ins will strictly not be allowed.
A QR code will be released on POP MART Malaysia’s official Facebook and Instagram pages each day at 10am, a day before each limited entry slot. The registration will require information such as your name and IC or passport details. Once you’ve got your slot, you will receive an email confirmation which you may need to show for verification upon entry.
While Labubu fans’ enthusiasm has never been dampened by queues, do note that POP MART is not recognising overnight or early physical queues. You can only queue as early as 1 hour before your slot at designated areas:
- 10am & 10.30am slots: at 7-Eleven, next to Shake Shack
- 11am slot: next to the pop-up area
Shopping time limit & maximum purchase
To ensure everyone gets a chance to shop and queues move quickly, The Monster Wacky Mart is allotting each visitor just 10 minutes in the store. There is also a maximum purchase of five items per person, per receipt, and guidelines on what you can purchase such as:
- Maximum purchase of 5 items, including pop-up exclusives and normal items
- Maximum purchase of 3 pop-up exclusives, including 1 piece/1 fullcase per item
If you’re wanting to get your hands on the Labubu Blister Pack, this will require a purchase of at least one regularly-available POP MART item.
Upon entry, you’ll be given a physical Checkout Pass that you’ll need to hand to the cashier to complete your purchase.
