TinyTAN Happy Meal is now available in Malaysia
Malaysian ARMY, this one is for you.
McDonald’s has brought back a second collaboration with global sensation BTS, but this time, in miniature form. The new TinyTAN Happy Meal, complete with collectible toys in blind boxes, has launched on 18th September 2025 in Malaysia.
Here’s everything to know about the collaboration:
What is TinyTan?
For the uninitiated, TinyTAN are animated characters inspired by each of the seven BTS members. The characters bear a close resemblance to the IRL members, but with a dose of extra adorableness and, well, in tinier form.

The characters were officially launched in 2020 and have since released their own lineup of animations and merch. Their latest collaboration is with the McDonald’s Happy Meal, following BTS’s previous partnership with the fast-food chain in 2021, which had ARMY snacking on the viral BTS Meal: a combination of McNuggets and various sauces popular in South Korea.
TinyTan collabs with McDonald’s Happy Meal
This September, McDonald’s released a new BTS-themed Happy Meal featuring TinyTAN. It was announced on the fast-food chain’s global Instagram page, with 66 countries set to launch the collab from 3rd September onwards. The list includes Malaysia, alongside other Asian countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.
On 17th September, McDonald’s Malaysia announced on Instagram that they’ll have the TinyTAN Happy Meal from 18th September until 8th October 2025.
What’s in the TinyTAN Happy Meal?
The TinyTAN Happy Meal offers a choice of a chicken burger (RM9.95), chicken McNuggets (RM9.91), CheeseBurger (RM10.85), Ayam Goreng McD (RM11.32), and Bubur Ayam McD (RM10.09), along with a side of small fries or corn, and a drink.
Each meal comes with a blind box with one of seven collectible TinyTAN versions of the BTS members: RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. A photocard of the TinyTAN member pulled is also included.
If you’re trying to collect all available figurines, but can’t finish your Happy Meal, you can opt to donate the meal and just get the TinyTAN toy only for RM9.95.
The Happy Meal is available for dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and drive-through. Stocks are limited, so you might want to head over to a McDonald’s outlet soon to get your hands on a figurine.
Two sets of collectible toys will be released: the Throwback Edition, featuring outfits from the 2021 BTS Meal promotion, available globally from 3rd September, and the Encore Edition, for the second BTS collaboration, starting 23rd September.
