M’sian Pregnant Lady Surprises Husband With A Lamborghini, Says It’s A Gift For Baby Duty Ahead

Pregnant lady gifts husband with a Lamborghini

It’s quite common online to see Malaysians splurging on gifts for their loved ones, such as this man who gave a RM50,000 money bouquet to his wife. But it’s safe to say that we rarely see couples gifting each other with something as expensive as a Lamborghini.

This Malaysian mum-to-be did just that. She bought her husband his favourite car as a gift – a Lamborghini that cost her a whopping RM2 million. The surprise present was an early reward for his upcoming duties as a father, while the expecting 19 year old observes her 100-day confinement period.

Beauty entrepreneur rewards husband for taking care of her

On Saturday, 12th March 2022, beauty entrepreneur Anes Ayuni Osman uploaded a video of her surprising her husband with the luxe gift on her TikTok account. The clip has since gone viral, with a million views and counting.

In the two-minute video, the mum-to-be was seen assisting her blindfolded husband out of a yellow Lamborghini to his brand new turquoise Lamborghini – a spiffy Huracan Evo wrapped with a red bow – parked inside a KL car sales centre.

According to the entrepreneur, who is nine months pregnant, the RM2 million sports car was an early reward for his upcoming role as a new father. She said that he would be caring for her pregnant self and their newborn baby, and would likely have to endure many sleepless nights after their child’s birth.

Following the reveal in the video, the couple was seen shedding happy tears in an embrace next to the Lamborghini. Ayuni also shared photos of her and her husband next to their luxe new ride on her Instagram account.

Appreciation for her husband’s sacrifice

In an interview with mStar, Ayuni shared that she appreciated her husband’s sacrifice as he would be by her side throughout her three-month confinement period in her hometown in Pasir Mas, Kelantan.

She also expected him to look after their baby day and night, as she would likely undergo a Caesarean birth and need time to recover.

His duties would include diaper changing and cleaning after their baby. But she shared with the Malay news portal that she wasn’t too worried about these tasks for him, as he was already caring for their pet cat in similar ways.

She was also confident that her husband would have no issues caring for the baby through the night, as that was when he typically worked. However, she worried that she would need to wake him up to look after their fussing baby during the day too, as her night-owl husband usually rested then.

Netizens have mixed reactions over the viral TikTok video

Since its posting, the TikTok video caught the attention of many netizens – managing to garner 1.5 million views and more than 150,000 likes at the time of writing.

In the comment section of @ayunieso24’s TikTok video, many netizens lauded the entrepreneur’s actions and expressed their wish that they, too, could do the same for their loved ones. Some even shared that they were moved by her video, presumably because of how the couple broke down in tears after the car’s grand reveal.

This Twitter user also congratulated the cosmetics entrepreneur, while joking, “You buy Lamborghini as if it’s keropok lekor”. This is likely referring to how she was well-known among her followers for spoiling her family with lavish gifts.

In the same report by mStar, she is said to have purchased several Louis Vuitton bags for her unborn baby.

However, there were a few netizens who were less than impressed with the entrepreneur’s extravagant gift. Some expressed envy as they are barely surviving financially, while others stated that it is a waste of money because her family apparently owned too many cars.

There’s no harm in wanting to spoil our loved ones every now and then, and show our appreciation for them through expensive gifts. In this case, however, many can’t help but sigh in poor.

It’s too easy to forget that the people we see online are humans and have feelings just like us. We hope that Malaysians will take this into account, and refrain from passing unnecessary judgement on others.
