Xiaomi collaborates with The National Art Gallery for an online photography contest
The year of curveballs, 2020, is finally coming to an end. Though this doesn’t mean that the virus situation in Malaysia will disappear come 2021, many of us are eager to leave 2020 behind and hope for better days ahead next year. In spite of the turmoil 2020 has brought us, Xiaomi Malaysia wants to leave it behind on a more positive note – by running an online photography contest that calls for participants to take pictures of moments that radiate positivity.
Xiaomi photography contest seeks to capture positive moments amidst difficult year
Aptly called “Good Things During Bad Times”, the online photography contest is organised by Xiaomi in collaboration with The National Art Gallery of Malaysia.

To participate, aspiring shutter bugs and non-shutter bugs alike will have to capture an original photo that best depicts their take on positive moments.
Once your photo is ready, submit your entry by uploading it on your own Instagram profile, and tag it with the hashtags #GoodThingsDuringBadTimes #Xiaomi #Mi10TSeries #BalaiSeniNegara #PowerYourCreativity. Make sure your profile is set to allow the public to view your photos, so that you are eligible to enter the contest.
Lastly, you’ll have to like and follow Xiaomi Malaysia’s official Facebook page and Instagram account respectively to complete your submission process.
The contest runs from now until 31st December 2020.

The top 25 winning entries will get the rare opportunity to have their photos published on our National Art Gallery’s official website, a feat that may open future doors for you. The judges comprise a panel of professional curators from The National Art Gallery, so you definitely want to give it your best shot to impress them.
Winners will also receive spanking new Xiaomi gadgets, including the new Mi 10T Pro and Mi Portable Photo Printer – gizmos that can further up your photography game in 2021.
