A treetop-themed resort also set to open at the theme park
The zip coaster was officiated on 12th May, by Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang, T.Y.T Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak. To cap the event off, a Guinness World Records certificate was presented by Mr. Pravin Patel from Guinness World Record London to the founder and Chief Executive of Sim Leisure group, Mr Sim Choo Kheng.
At the event, we found out that the zip coaster was completed during the pandemic.
Mr Sim also revealed additional attractions planned for Escape Theme Park Penang – including a 15-acre, treetop-themed resort that’ll transform the park into an integrated resort destination.
“We will continue to raise the bar, not only at Escape Penang, but in all our establishments under the Escape brand”, he shared. “This is a place where visitors can truly expect the unexpected as we invent and innovate to keep things fresh and exciting for many more years to come”.
