HoYo FEST 2025 in Malaysia
It’s that time of the year again, HoYoverse fans. The annual HoYo FEST returns to Malaysia for four days only in 2025, bringing with it a galore of official merch from beloved HoYoverse games such as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. If the game swag isn’t enough, there are also freebies to earn at the event.
Here’s a quick run-through of the event, held from now till 27th July 2025 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil Exhibition Centre, so you know what to expect when you visit:
What is HoYo FEST?
HoYo FEST is in its 5th edition this year. The festival is held concurrently in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, so every Southeast Asian fan can celebrate their favourite titles under HoYoverse. For the uninitiated, the brand is behind immersive games that span RPGs to legal romance mysteries such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Tears of Themis.

At this year’s HoYo FEST in Malaysia, four games are highlighted: Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. There are four themed stations with photo spots and freebies to claim when you complete quick tasks at each zone.
The event opens from 10am to 8pm, on Level 5 of Pavilion Bukit Jalil at its Exhibition Centre.
What to expect at HoYo FEST 2025 in Malaysia
HoYo FEST is spread out across five zones.
The first one you’ll see – and the spot that most fans beeline for – is the HoYoverse Official Merchandise Store. Here, you’ll find all sorts of exclusive merch from HoYoverse titles. We spotted plushes, acrylic iPhone stands, posters, gaming table mats, keychains, badges, T-shirts, and more.
There will be queues to get inside the store, but each shopper is given 15 minutes to shop and another 5 minutes to pay, so the line moves fairly quickly.
For those hunting for the perfect photo op or keen on free swag, the HoYo Fest Game Booths & Photo Booth is up next. This area is spread into six zones, with five dedicated to popular games under HoYoverse and the last a photo booth. Exciting activities like collectible passport stamps, mini games, and guaranteed freebies can be found at each booth, so you’ll want to hit up each spot.
If the swag wasn’t enough at the merch store, there’s Artist Alley that’s making its debut at HoYo FEST in Malaysia. Find HoYoverse-inspired merch handcrafted by local artists and creators.
What are the admission fees for HoYo FEST in Malaysia?
HoYo Fest has several ticket options – which one you pick will depend on the experience you want to get from the event. We’ve broken them all down for you:

Tickets can be purchased online here.
During your visit, you’ll need to line up to register and get complimentary gifts with your ticket. Then, you can make your way over to the line for entry. The event is limiting the number of people inside, so you won’t have to squeeze your way between people while here.
