For food lovers, book a ticket to The Solitary Gourmet, which brings the beloved Japanese TV series based on a manga to the big screen. Directed by and starring Yutaka Matsushige, the film follows Goro Inogashira, a solitary salaryman on a culinary journey for that special soup.

Adding further depth to the programme is a special showcase of Northern Food Story and Diamonds in the Sand, complete with a post-screening discussion that brings audiences deeper into the cultural heart of Japanese cinema.
