Additional services will also operate along the Johor Bahru Sentral to KL Sentral corridor, reflecting strong demand from travellers returning to Perak, Penang, Perlis, and Johor for festive reunions.

Historically, the period leading up to and immediately after Hari Raya Aidilfitri sees a significant increase in travel as Malaysians take advantage of the public holidays to reunite with loved ones.
In addition to the standard ETS and EMUPlus services, KTMB will operate special Ekspres Lambaian Aidilfitri trains serving both the northern and east coast regions, including routes between Kuala Lumpur and Tumpat as well as Kuala Lumpur and Padang Besar.
