Supreme Cosmic Bowl has become a popular bowling alley in Klang Valley, thanks to its glow-in-the-dark lanes and neon-colored pins. Just like Demi Lovato sang in Neon Lights, you’ll feel like you’re burnin up like neon lights when you bowl at their outlets with your friends.

This bowling alley has two branches – one at Brem Mall in Kepong and Mid Valley Megamall. There are 38 bowling lanes and services such as coaching and even tournament play at the latter outlet. You can opt to bowl wearing your own sports shoe if you don’t want to rent a shoe – just come wearing closed-toe shoes.

Ole Ole Super Bowl is a popular bowling alley for locals in Shah Alam. They have 28 bowling lanes that are well-maintained and equipped with modern scoring systems and automatic bumpers. But it’s their pricing that has patrons coming by regularly, with rates starting at just RM8 per person.

They also offer a wide range of services such as house ball and shoe rentals (from RM3), as well as coaching and league games.

3. Sunway Megalanes, Subang Jaya

Sunway Megalanes, located inside Sunway Pyramid, is the go-to bowling spot in Subang Jaya. The bowling alley has a whopping 48 lanes, each equipped with the latest equipment.

As they’re located near several colleges in Subang Jaya, they even have student discounts of RM5.80 per game for those 21 years old and below. Otherwise, rates start at RM14 for Malaysians and RM7 for members.

When you start feeling peckish between bowling, you can head to their cafe that serves up light bites and drinks. There’s also a shop that sells a variety of bowling equipment and accessories.

4. KLGCC, Kuala Lumpur

KLGCC is not your usual bowling alley at a nearby mall. Located inside Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club, it looks a tad more high class with soft yellow lighting and tournament-grade lanes. It offers lot more privacy too, with a total of eight bowling lanes for adults and two mini lanes for kids.

Their pricing starts from RM8 for members and RM12 for visitors, while kids get to play for just RM3. In case your forgot your gear, they offer shoe (RM3) and sock (RM5) rental too.

If you’re in KL, head to their Berjaya Times Square outlet, which has 48 lanes. Their rates start from RM10.50 on weekdays before 4pm, and RM14 on Fridays after 4pm and weekends. You can also opt to rent shoes for RM4 and socks for RM5.

If you’re a bowling newbie who prefers to bowl in a less-crowded environment, Gurney Bowl at Residensi UTMKL is a good place to begin bowling at. This bowling alley has just 10 lanes, so you don’t have to worry about the crowds or noise levels and focus on the game.

Their prices are RM14 for 3 games on weekdays before 5pm, and RM13 for 2 games on weekday night after 5pm. Those swinging by on the weekends can expect to fork out RM20.

Wangsa Bowl has been around for decades, opening its first alley in 1995 at Selayang Mall. They now have several outlets around Klang Valley, including one at 1 Utama Shopping Centre that has 36 lanes. You can opt for a 30-minute (RM17) or 60-minute (RM30) bowling session here.

Bowling bowls, socks, and shoes can be rented at RM3.

Apart from bowling, you can opt to play pool or take a break at the cafe with some refreshments.
