This September, Aesop is bringing back its Aesop Women’s Library to Suria KLCC, where visitors can browse a curated selection of books by local female authors and take one home as a gift, no purchase necessary.
What is Aesop Women’s Library?

Born from Aesop’s long-standing reverence for literature, the Aesop Women’s Library is a literary initiative that brings together books written by local female authors, offering readers a chance to discover new voices and perspectives.
Each edition in various cities brings together a selection of titles recommended by local bookstores and publishers, resulting in a collection that spans different subjects, languages and perspectives.
Since 2021, the initiative has distributed more than 115,000 books, connecting readers with stories and perspectives from women writers.
What to expect at the Aesop Women’s Library 2026 in Malaysia?

After a brief hiatus, Aesop’s Women’s Library is returning to Kuala Lumpur, transforming Aesop KLCC into a temporary library of sorts from 19th to 20th September 2026.
This year’s theme, From Pulse to Page, explores the female form and the ways it can become a language of its own, celebrating voices that use the body as language and uncovering the beauty of words that emerge from within.

The Malaysia selection features 25 literature titles in English, Mandarin and Malay, with books from local publishers including Gerakbudaya, Mentor Publishing and Buku Fixi. Find a diverse collection that spotlights female Malaysian authors, amongst which are Chuah Guat Eng, Fang Ken, and Ainul Farihah.
