The Golden Spring Market at The Sphere is practically teeming with the CNY intensity that our ancestors will be proud of, no doubt. Red lanterns and cherry blossoms bedeck the space and stalls which offer all sorts of festivity goodness, from classic CNY cookies and snacks, herbal teas and alcoholic beverages, hair and body care products, and even CNY-themed jewellery.

It isn’t just the shopping that’ll draw you to join in on the fun. They have a couple of hands-on workshops too, such as Chinese calligraphy and Labubu clay art workshops.

The market is a treasure trove of hundreds of stalls, featuring handcrafted souvenirs such as weaved bags and crocheted plushies, freshly made nostalgic artisan snacks such as nian gao and kuih loyang, and even workshop and service booths such as hand-poked tattoo, a leather shoe-maker, and silver-smiths.

Now this is a good one for those looking to spruce up their house for Chinese New Year. The CNY Plant Market by City Gardening KL has a verdant haven of leafy plants and bright blooms for you to discover and bring home.

Here, you’ll find a massive range of both indoor and outdoor plants, fengshui-friendly pots for maximum huat, air-purifying ones for your bedroom or office desk, adorable succulents, and hanging terrariums. There are also plant-arrangement workshops for beginners so you can ace your home decor for guests to be majorly impressed during CNY reunions.
