2023 was a pretty good year for music lovers – we had artistes like Coldplay and Fujii Kaze gracing our shores. And it seems that our #postconcertdepression will live on, as there’s a whole bunch of famous artists dropping announcements of concerts in Malaysia in 2024. But we’re not ones to complain.
To help you navigate the latest rock gigs and K-pop comebacks, we rounded up all the concerts in Malaysia this year below, with tour dates and ticket information included.

Ring ding dong Shawols – K-pop’s dance machine and English king, SHINee’s Taemin will be grooving his way to Malaysia!
The K-pop megastar has announced his Ephemeral Gaze World Tour, with its very first international stop being Kuala Lumpur on 7th September 2024.
Details regarding the concert venue and ticket prices have yet to be announced, but Shawols can tune in to Taemin’s throbbingly sensual and deeply addictive discography as we wait for updates

It’s showtime, guess who’s back again! American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars is returning to Kuala Lumpur for his live concert that’s set to take place at National Stadium Bukit Jalil.
The 38-year-old pop star last performed in Malaysia six years ago, so Malaysian fans are understandably excited to be singing and dancing along to both his groovy and soulful tunes on 17th September 2024.
Presale tickets will go on sale on 27th June, while general tickets will be available on 28th June at 10am onwards, both on the official ticketing website, Go Live Asia. Prices of tickets have yet to be announced.

If you’ve missed out on LANY’s concert last year in 2023, this is your chance to watch them live again in Malaysia this year.
The popular duo announced on Instagram that they’ll be embarking on an Asia tour called a beautiful blur: the world tour in September and October, with stops in various countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia. Malaysian fans can get extra excited for this upcoming show, as they’ll be performing at a bigger location compared to their concert in August 2023.
General sale tickets will go on sale from 14th March, 8pm, to 15th March, 8am, with Mastercard Cardholders (12th-14th March) and Live Nation members (14th-15h March) having early access to presale tickets.

After a rocky few years due to the members’ military service enlistments, South Korean idol-rock band Day6 is back and heading abroad for their new world tour titled Forever Young. Kuala Lumpur will be the band’s first overseas stop after a three-day concert in their homeland.
The four-member group – which includes Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon – are known for their exceptional instrumental talents as well as the profound lyrics and music. Malaysian fans will have the chance to listen to them live again at Mega Star Arena on 5th October 2024. The concert will also feature debut tracks from their latest EP Fourever, along with beloved hits including You Were Beautiful, Zombie, and Days Gone By.

HYUKOH & Sunset Rollercoaster

Music is universal, and this joint concert of South Korean indie band HYUKOH and Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster proves exactly that. Both bands will be teaming up for a nine-stop tour called AAA Tour, and have announced an upcoming show in Kuala Lumpur on 18th October 2024.
In support of their recent collaborative album also named AAA which contains tracks sung in three different languages, – English, Korean, and Mandarin – both bands will be kicking off the tour in their home countries, Seoul and Taipei, before venturing out to Tokyo, Manila, KL, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Sydney and Melbourne.
Tickets will go on sale on 7th August at 11am onwards, on the official ticketing website, TicketMelon.

Up and coming South Korean singer-songwriter Colde, has recently announced extra dates for his ongoing 2024 BluePrint Tour, and Malaysia has made it to the list!
To take place on 16th October 2024, the intimate concert will be held in Jiospace, Petaling Jaya. This marks the R&B singer’s first solo concert in Malaysia, but not his first time in our country. In 2019, the artist performed at the Urbanscapes Festival in Kuala Lumpur.
Tickets for the concert will be available on 25th September from 10am onwards, and can be purchased via kohai.com/colde. More details regarding the prices and seating have yet to be announced.

Fujii Kaze

After selling out his very first concert in Malaysia last year, Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze is scaling up and returning to our shores once again for his upcoming Best of Fujii Kaze 2020-2024 Asia Tour.
Set to thrill us real soon on 2nd November 2024, the Shinunoga E-Wa artist will be performing the Malaysian leg of the tour at Axiata Arena, where fans can look forward to his chart-topping hits live such as Matsuri, Nan-Nan, and his latest release, Feelin’ Go(o)d.
Concert tickets will be available from 1st September 2024 at 11am onwards, with prices ranging from RM298 to RM598.

The Kid Laroi is finally making his way to Malaysia for his The First Time Tour!
Set to perform at ZEPP KL on 4th November 2024, the Australian rapper was originally scheduled to appear at the Good Vibes Festival 2023, which was cancelled.
Fans who have eagerly anticipated another chance to see the artist live can purchase tickets for the concert on 28th August 2024 from 10am onwards, exclusively through Ticket Empire’s official website.

The R&B singer who filled your high school days with his soulful tunes and silky voice, Ne-yo, is returning to Malaysia after serenading the crowd here just last January. The 3-time Grammy award winner announced that he will be performing for two days at Plenary Hall, with a setlist that’ll feature all of his biggest hits including So Sick, One In A Million, and Sexy Love.

Imagine Dragons

First things first – booking tickets for Imagine Dragons’ upcoming concert in Malaysia. The rock band will be touring Asia from November to December for their Loom World Tour, which celebrates their sixth solo album LOOM and the hit single Eyes Closed off it.
The tour will kick off in Kuala Lumpur on 21st November, followed by shows in Bangkok, Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
Live Nation members can purchase pre-sale tickets on 15th August 2024, from 12pm. General sale tickets will be available on 16th August, from 11am.

Malaysian fans can dance the night away with Dua Lipa on 23rd and 24th November. The singer-songwriter is making her way to Kuala Lumpur for her Asia tour, Radical Optimism. The 28-year-old singer, who is behind radio hits like Illusion and Training Session, last performed in Malaysia way back in May 2018.
Presale tickets to her upcoming concert in Malaysia will go on sale on 10th June, while general tickets will be available on 11th June at 11am onwards.

VIPs, this will send you into a frenzy – Taeyang from the legendary K-pop boy group BIGBANG is heading back to Malaysia on 7th December 2024 for his solo concert!
As part of The Light Year tour, the vocalist will be blazing the stages of Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur soon, over a year after he last performed at the 2023 Borneo Sonic Music Festival in Sarawak.

The crew of the South Korean label Dream Perfect Regime – DPR Ian, DPR Cream, and DPR Arctic – are gearing up for their massive Dream Reborn World Tour 2024, and they will be bringing the tour to Malaysia amongst other cities in Asia, the US and Europe.
The multi-talented trio will hold the concert in Kuala Lumpur on 18th December 2024, with the venue and ticket prices yet to be confirmed.

Diamond Dreams Concert – 13th January
Jessica Jung, former member of K-pop group Girls’ Generation, will be bringing her first solo concert to Kuala Lumpur on 13th January.
The Korean-American pop star recently made the announcement on her Instagram account, expressing her excitement to be performing her Diamond Dreams concert at Mega Star Arena next year. Fans can look forward to Jessica Jung performing tracks from her debut solo album, With Love, J, as well as other albums including Wonderland, My Decade and Beep Beep.

Asia Tour 2023-2024 – 14th January
Japanese supergroup, YOASOBI, is heading to Malaysia in January for their Asia tour. Comprising songwriter Ayase and vocalist Ikura, the J-pop duo who is best known for their debut-single Yoru ni Kakeru and social media-viral Idol (アイドル) have been topping the music charts in Japan and making waves internationally since their recent debut in 2019.

Disney In Concert: A Dream Is A Wish

A concert that Disney fans won’t want to miss out on is Disney In Concert: A Dream Is A Wish, a one-night-only concert set to take place at Genting Highlands. The show will be presented by 46 musicians and four singers, who will be entertaining the audience with beloved songs from Disney movie soundtracks including Frozen and Aladdin.

The Rose
Dawn to Dusk World – 31st January
The Rose, a four-piece Korean indie band, is set to rock the stages in Kuala Lumpur this January. Having completed the European leg of their “Dawn to Dusk” world tour last year, the band will be kickstarting their Asia tour this month, and has included Malaysia as a stop.
The concert will be held at Mega Star Arena on 31st January 2024. Renowned for their emotive English and Korean tracks that are layered with gritty and soulful vocals, as well as devastatingly sad lyrics, the band will no doubt move the crowd with their hits such as Back to Me, Childhood, She’s in the Rain, and their debut single Sorry.

Show What I Have – 17th February
Fans of the six-member K-pop girl group IVE can get ready for a Love Dive in February 2024. The idols recently announced that they will be bringing their world tour to Malaysia for the very first time. Titled Show What I Have, the tour will be the group’s first ever world tour since their debut in 2021.

The Mathematics Tour – 24th February
The mastermind and voice behind those wedding aisle songs, Ed Sheeran has included Kuala Lumpur as a stop in his much-awaited +-=÷× Tour, or the The Mathematics Tour. The critically-acclaimed British singer-songwriter will be crooning to his medley of hit singles at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in February of next year.
Not only will fans be able to cry to the hit-maker’s iconic songs live, including Shape Of You, Perfect, Thinking Out Loud and Photograph, they’ll also be treated to a special performance by guest performer and fellow English singer, Calum Scott.

Tour of the Setting Sum – 5th March
A bittersweet one – Canadian rock band Sum41 will be bringing their epic farewell tour to Malaysia this March, concluding their sensational 28-year musical career with their fans.
The Grammy-nominated rock icons have added a date for Kuala Lumpur, so fans will be able to experience the band’s journey through their final concert, titled Tour of the Setting Sum. Look forward to a night of nostalgia as the band serenades the Malaysian crowd for the very last time with hits such as In Too Deep, Fat Lip, Pieces, as well as tracks from their latest and last album Heaven :x: Hell.

Ages & Stages – 6th March

South Korean R&B artists Dean and Tabber are set to perform in Malaysia this August. Dean, a highly-sought after hip hop musician, shot to fame after the release of his hit track Instagram in 2017. He has since collaborated with fellow popular Korean artists including IU, Taeyeon, Zico, and Crush. Joining him at this concert is fellow labelmate Tabber, a budding rapper who has been making waves in the past year with tracks such as 007 (Feat. Syd) and Being.

Restart Asia – 13th April
Super Junior’s vocalist Kyuhyun will be making his solo tour debut in Malaysia this April with his Asia tour, titled Restart Asia Tour. The South Korean singer shared a poster on his official social media pages, announcing the cities he will be making a stop at – including Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysian ELFs can get themselves prepped with the singer’s rich discography such as At Gwanghwamun, Goodbye For Now and Time With You, before listening to Kyuhyun’s gorgeous vocals singing to them live.

CNBLUE
CNBLUENTITY – 20th April
A whole decade later and South Korean’s beloved boy band CNBLUE is finally returning to Malaysia for a concert. As part of their tour titled CNBLUENTITY, the pop-rock band’s concert will be held at Kuala Lumpur on 20th April, 10 years after the boy band last held their Blue Moon World Tour here in 2013.

Boys Like Girls
Spring – 21st & 22nd April
American pop-punk band Boys Like Girls will be returning to our shores this April. And not just for a night, but two in a row. Set to rock the stages of Malaysia, the band will be performing in Kuala Lumpur, and then in Kota Kinabalu on the night after, as part of their 2024 Spring Tour in Southeast Asia.
Best known for their emo-rock sounds, their top hits – namely The Great Escape, Love Drunk and Two Is Better Than One – have been huge comforts of many 90s kids during their adolescence.

We The Kings
26th April
American rock band, We The Kings, has announced that they will be returning to Malaysia for their Asia Tour 2024. The band is known for their hit songs such as Check Yes Juliet and Say You Like Me, and has won the hearts of music fans worldwide.
Their concert will take place in two states – Hakka Hall, Kota Kinabalu on 24th April and The Exchange Hall, Kuala Lumpur on 26th April. This will be the first time the band has returned to Malaysia since their last performance in Malaysia back in 2015. They will be performing in other Southeast Asia countries such as Singapore and Thailand.

The American band that got us all deep in our emo phase during our adolescence, All Time Low, has announced the Asian leg of their All Time Low Forever Tour 2024 which will be kicking off in Kuala Lumpur.
On 28th April at Zepp KL, the quartet is set to rock the stage with their addicting riffs and punk tunes that we all once listened to on repeat – Dear Maria, Count Me In, Monsters, and Backseat Serenade included.

H.E.R World – 8th & 9th June
Korean singer-songwriter and actress, IU has announced her massive 2024 ‘H.E.R.’ World Tour, and Malaysia gets two dates. This concert marks IU’s return to Kuala Lumpur since her “Love Poem” concert tour here back in 2019.
After a period of focusing on her acting projects, the iconic musician is set to return to the music scene with her very first worldwide tour, which will kick off in Seoul, followed by stops in cities around Asia, as well as several cities in Europe and the US.
Malaysian UAENAs – affectionally called KU-AENAs by the popstar herself – can look forward to the singer delighting us with her angelic voice to her hits including Eight, Celebrity, Through The Night, and Coin.

The Hits Tour – 9th June
90s babies will love this – Westlife, one of pop music’s most influential boy bands, will be serenading Malaysians fans with their heavenly vocals yet again this June.
Just a year after their last concert in February 2023 in Malaysia, our favourite Irish lads is set to perform at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, as part of their Westlife The Hits Tour 2024.
This time round however, there’ll only be 3 of the members onstage, as member Mark Feehily is currently taking some time off due to health reasons. Nevertheless, get ready to sing – and maybe cry – along to the songs we all belt our hearts out to during karaoke sesh such as Lay My Love On You, Uptown Girls, and My Love.

American Boy in Asia – 13th June
Whether you know him for his hit IDK You Yet or his latest track Cozy with fellow hitmakers Jeremy Zucker and Lauv, Alexander 23 has become a regular fixture on our calm vibes playlists.
After going on tour with Alec Benjamin in 2019 and holding a sold-out headline tour in 2021, Alexander is set to tour Asia in June for his American Boy in Asia Tour.
The tour will begin in Seoul on 2nd June, before he makes his way to Kuala Lumpur on 13th June.

World Tour Pt.1 – 21st June
J-pop fans will be thrilled to hear that Japanese girl group Atarashii Gakko! will be bringing their first ever world tour to Malaysia on 21st June,
Atarashii Gakko’s music is a combination of J-pop with crazy punk and rock, and they have been releasing hits such as Otonablue and Tokyo Calling since their debut in 2015. The girls are known for their energetic dance routines and sick beats that’ll make you want to breakdance along.

Treasure Relay REBOOT – 22nd June
Just last year, K-pop boy group Treasure was blazing the stages of Malaysia and blowing fans away. This June, the 10-piece boyband will be returning to Kuala Lumpur to perform for Treasure Makers once more.
The boys will be bringing their 2024 Treasure Relay Tour REBOOT to Axiata Arena, promising a night of eargasm-ic music and healing songs including JIKJIN, DARARI, and I Love You.

I AM: Here – 22nd June
Vocal prowess and Korean solo artist Ailee, will be gracing the stages of Malaysia this June with her very first solo concert titled I AM: Here.
Admired and known for her incredible vocals and powerful live performances, the Korean-American singer has been serenading and moving audiences with a string of empowering hits and heartrending ballad soundtracks since her debut in 2012.

The former member of K-pop boy group IKON will be performing at Mega Star Arena on 30th June.

Super Show Spin-off: Halftime – 3rd August
OG K-pop boy group Super Junior will be returning to Malaysia for their Asia concert tour.
It was revealed by SM agency that the idols will perform in Kuala Lumpur some time in August this year. The group will also be performing in neighbouring SEA countries such as Singapore and Indonesia as part of the same tour, called 2024 Super Junior Super Show Spin-off: Halftime.
It marks the beloved boy band’s 19th anniversary, and their return to Malaysia since their last concert here in 2022.

The First HOWL – 7th August
Up and rising Japanese girl group XG, will be bringing their first world tour titled The First HOWL to Malaysia.

Kim Sung Kyu of K-pop boy group INFINTE is coming to Malaysia for his debut solo Asia tour titled Let’s Vacay. Better yet, Malaysian fans will be treated to two dates of the South Korean artist performing live in Kuala Lumpur, on 10th and 11th August 2024.
This is certainly an exciting news for Malaysian Inspirits as this tour marks the vocalist’s first visit to our country in 11 years.

Me Again – 16th August
American singer and songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan, is set to perform in Kuala Lumpur for the first time as part of the Asian leg of her Me Again tour. The 24-year-old artist will be crooning her sad girl tunes at Zepp KL on 16th August, after which she will continue touring other major Asian cities including Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Seoul.
Evoking raw emotions in her music both emotionally and lyrically, the singer has a solid debut with her first EPs such as Sad Girl and Loser, as well as her debut albums Only Child and the second studio album I Blame The World.

Asia Fan Concert Tour: Bloom – 17th August
EXO-Ls sure are lucky in 2024 with announcements after announcements of the K-pop boy group performing in Malaysia, albeit not as one. After EXO’s Suho’s solo concert in July, fans can gear up to attend fellow member D.O.‘s solo concert that’s set to take place on 17th August.
The K-pop vocalist – known for his stunningly luminous vocals and adorably squishy smile – announced his first ever solo Asia fan concert tour titled BLOOM, that will be held in a total of 11 cities across Asia.
D.O. debuted as a member of the wildly successful K-pop boy group EXO. The R&B singer finally made his solo debut in 2021 with his first EP Rose, and his second EP in 2023 titled Expectation, which were both widely loved. It has been confirmed that D.O. is set to release his third solo album in the first half of 2024.

Bring Me The Horizon
21st August
British rock band Bring Me The Horizon is heading to Malaysia for their live concert that’s set to take place at Sunway Lagoon on 21st August 2024. The influential rock band is finally returning to Malaysia after a long 11-years gap. Their last performance in Kuala Lumpur was during the Rockaway Festival back in 2013.
The band will also be sharing the stage with special guests BABYMETAL, the Japanese all-female kawaii metal band, who are known for their unique blend of heavy metal and J-pop music.

Bewitched: The Goddess Tour – 27th August
