2023 was a pretty good year for music lovers. We had a whole slew of international artists gracing our shores with concerts. And it seems that our #postconcertdepression will live on, as there’s a whole bunch of famous artists dropping announcements of their concerts in Malaysia for 2024 – but frankly, we’re not complaining.

Super Junior’s vocalist Kyuhyun will be making his solo tour debut in Malaysia this April with his Asia tour, titled Restart Asia Tour. The South Korean singer shared a poster on his official social media pages, announcing the cities he will be making a stop at – including Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysian ELFs can get themselves prepped with the singer’s rich discography such as At Gwanghwamun, Goodbye For Now and Time With You, before listening to Kyuhyun’s gorgeous vocals singing to them live.

20th April – CNBLUE: CNBLUENTITY Tour

A whole decade later and South Korean’s beloved boy band CNBLUE is finally returning to Malaysia for a concert. As part of their tour titled CNBLUENTITY, the pop-rock band’s concert will be held at Kuala Lumpur on 20th April, 10 years after the boy band last held their Blue Moon World Tour here in 2013.

21st & 22nd April – Boys Like Girls: Spring Tour

American pop-punk band Boys Like Girls will be returning to our shores this April. And not just for a night, but two in a row. Set to rock the stages of Malaysia, the band will be performing in Kuala Lumpur, and then in Kota Kinabalu on the night after, as part of their 2024 Spring Tour in Southeast Asia.
Best known for their emo-rock sounds, their top hits – namely The Great Escape, Love Drunk and Two Is Better Than One – have been huge comforts of many 90s kids during their adolescence.

26th April – We The Kings: Asia Tour

American rock band, We The Kings, has announced that they will be returning to Malaysia for their Asia Tour 2024. The band is known for their hit songs such as Check Yes Juliet and Say You Like Me, and has won the hearts of music fans worldwide.
Their concert will take place in two states – Hakka Hall, Kota Kinabalu on 24th April and The Exchange Hall, Kuala Lumpur on 26th April. This will be the first time the band has returned to Malaysia since their last performance in Malaysia back in 2015. They will be performing in other Southeast Asia countries such as Singapore and Thailand.

The American band that got us all deep in our emo phase during our adolescence, All Time Low, has announced the Asian leg of their All Time Low Forever Tour 2024 which will be kicking off in Kuala Lumpur.
On 28th April at Zepp KL, the quartet is set to rock the stage with their addicting riffs and punk tunes that we all once listened to on repeat – Dear Maria, Count Me In, Monsters, and Backseat Serenade included.

Rising pop artist Elijah Woods, is making his way to Malaysia on 14th May for his ilu 24/7, 365 tour in Asia. As this will be his first huge Asia tour, the multi-platinum artist is looking forward to connecting with his Malaysian fans through his ear-wormy music and emotive lyrics.

20th May – JP Saxe: A Grey World Tour

JP Saxe is set to bring his A Grey Area world tour to Asia, starting with a performance in Kuala Lumpur on 20th May at The Bee, Publika. Exclusive pre-sale access for Live Nation members begins on 19th March (Tue) followed by general ticket sales starting 20th March (Wed) on GoLive Asia. With hits like If The World Was Ending, JP Saxe has collected numerous platinum certifications and even received a Grammy Award nomination for the song.

8th & 9th June – IU: H.E.R World Tour

Korean singer-songwriter and actress, IU has announced her massive 2024 ‘H.E.R.’ World Tour, and Malaysia gets two dates. This concert marks IU’s return to Kuala Lumpur since her “Love Poem” concert tour here back in 2019.
After a period of focusing on her acting projects, the iconic musician is set to return to the music scene with her very first worldwide tour, which will kick off in Seoul, followed by stops in cities around Asia, as well as several cities in Europe and the US.
Malaysian UAENAs – affectionally called KU-AENAs by the popstar herself – can look forward to the singer delighting us with her angelic voice to her hits including Eight, Celebrity, Through The Night, and Coin.

90s babies will love this – Westlife, one of pop music’s most influential boy bands, will be serenading Malaysians fans with their heavenly vocals yet again this June!
Just a year after their last concert in February 2023 in Malaysia, our favourite Irish lads is set to perform at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, as part of their Westlife The Hits Tour 2024.
This time round however, there’ll only be 3 of the members onstage, as member Mark Feehily is currently taking some time off due to health reasons.
Nevertheless, get ready to sing – and maybe cry – along to the songs we all belt our hearts out to during karaoke sesh such as Lay My Love On You, Uptown Girls, and My Love.

22nd June – Treasure: Treasure Relay Tour REBOOT

Just last year, K-pop boy group Treasure was blazing the stages of Malaysia and blowing fans away. This June, the 10-piece boyband will be returning to Kuala Lumpur to perform for Treasure Makers once more.
The boys will be bringing their 2024 Treasure Relay Tour REBOOT to Axiata Arena, promising a night of eargasm-ic music and healing songs including JIKJIN, DARARI, and I Love You.

Vocal prowess and Korean solo artist Ailee, will be gracing the stages of Malaysia this June with her very first solo concert titled I AM: Here.
Admired and known for her incredible vocals and powerful live performances, the Korean-American singer has been serenading and moving audiences with a string of empowering hits and heartrending ballad soundtracks since her debut in 2012. Few of her captivating hits include the emotionally-charged OST titled I Will Go With You Like The First Snow from the K-drama Goblin, as well as singles including Heaven, Don’t Touch Me, and U&I.

28th July – Suho: SU:HOME Asia Tour

If all you EXO-Ls are still feeling the withdrawals from K-pop boy group member Chanyeol’s fancon early this year, you’ll be ecstatic to know that fellow EXO member Suho is set to perform in Kuala Lumpur on 28th July 2024!
The K-pop vocalist has announced his upcoming solo Asia concert tour titled SU:HOME, which is set to kick of on 25th May in Seoul. Apart from Kuala Lumpur and Seoul, Suho will be performing in 4 other cities across Asia including Manila, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Bangkok.

17th August – D.O.: BLOOM Asia Tour

EXO-Ls sure are lucky in 2024 with announcements after announcements of the K-pop boy group performing in Malaysia, albeit not as one. After EXO’s Suho’s solo concert in July, fans can then gear up to attend fellow member D.O.‘s solo concert that’s set to take place on 17th August 2024.
The K-pop vocalist – known for his stunningly luminous vocals and adorably squishy smile – announced his first ever solo Asia fan concert tour titled BLOOM, that will be held in a total of 11 cities across Asia.
D.O. debuted as a member of the wildly successful K-pop boy group EXO. The R&B singer finally made his solo debut in 2021 with his first EP “Rose”, and his second EP in 2023 titled “Expectation”, which were both widely loved. It has been confirmed that D.O. is set to release his third solo album in the first half of 2024.

3rd August – Super Junior: Super Show Spin-off Halftime Asia Tour

OG K-pop boy group Super Junior will be returning to Malaysia for their Asia concert tour.
It was revealed by SM agency that the idols will perform in Kuala Lumpur some time in August this year. The group will also be performing in neighbouring SEA countries such as Singapore and Indonesia as part of the same tour, called 2024 Super Junior Super Show Spin-off: Halftime. It marks the beloved boy band’s 19th anniversary, and their return to Malaysia since their last concert here in 2022.

Icelandic-Chinese singer Laufey is set to grace Malaysia with her presence on 27th August 2024. She will be bringing her upcoming world tour titled Bewitched: The Goddess Tour to Plenary Hall, KLCC.
Malaysian Lauvers can expect to be enchanted by her instrumental talents and song masterpieces during the concert including From The Start, Falling Behind, and Goddess.

22nd September – LANY: a beautiful blur: the world tour

If you’ve missed out on LANY’s concert last year in 2023, this is your chance to watch them live again in Malaysia this year.
The popular duo announced on Instagram that they’ll be embarking on an Asia tour called a beautiful blur: the world tour in September and October, with stops in various countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia. Malaysian fans can get extra excited for this upcoming show, as they’ll be performing at a bigger location compared to their concert in August 2023.
General sale tickets will go on sale from 14th March, 8pm, to 15th March, 8am, with Mastercard Cardholders (12th-14th March) and Live Nation members (14th-15h March) having early access to presale tickets.

2024 will be starting off on an exciting foot with the appearance of Mark Tuan, American-Taiwanese heartthrob and member of the K-pop group GOT7, in Malaysia in January. The singer-rapper is set to captivate fans at Zepp KL as part of his Asia tour called The Other Side.

13th January – Jessica Jung: Diamond Dreams Concert Tour

Jessica Jung, former member of K-pop group Girls’ Generation, will be bringing her first solo concert to Kuala Lumpur on 13th January 2024.
The Korean-American pop star recently made the announcement on her Instagram account, expressing her excitement to be performing her Diamond Dreams concert at Mega Star Arena next year. Fans can look forward to Jessica Jung performing tracks from her debut solo album, With Love, J, as well as other albums including Wonderland, My Decade and Beep Beep.

14th January – YOASOBI: Asia Tour 2023-2024

Japanese supergroup, YOASOBI, is heading to Malaysia in January for their Asia tour. Comprising songwriter Ayase and vocalist Ikura, the J-pop duo who is best known for their debut-single Yoru ni Kakeru and social media-viral Idol (アイドル) have been topping the music charts in Japan and making waves internationally since their recent debut in 2019.
They’ll be performing for their Malaysian fans at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, with a setlist of their hits.

14th January – Disney In Concert: A Dream Is A Wish

A concert that Disney fans won’t want to miss out on is Disney In Concert: A Dream Is A Wish, a one-night-only concert set to take place at Genting Highlands. The show will be presented by 46 musicians and four singers, who will be entertaining the audience with beloved songs from Disney movie soundtracks including Frozen and Aladdin.

31st January – The Rose: Dawn to Dusk World Tour

The Rose, a four-piece Korean indie band, is set to rock the stages in Kuala Lumpur this January. Having completed the European leg of their “Dawn to Dusk” world tour last year, the band will be kickstarting their Asia tour this month, and has included Malaysia as a stop.
The concert will be held at Mega Star Arena on 31st January 2024. Renowned for their emotive English and Korean tracks that are layered with gritty and soulful vocals, as well as devastatingly sad lyrics, the band will no doubt move the crowd with their hits such as Back to Me, Childhood, She’s in the Rain, and their debut single Sorry.

Fans of the six-member K-pop girl group IVE can get ready for a Love Dive in February 2024. The idols recently announced that they will be bringing their world tour to Malaysia for the very first time. Titled Show What I Have, the tour will be the group’s first ever world tour since their debut in 2021.
Fans can look forward to hearing the K-pop sensation’s addicting hits, including Love Dive, I Am, Eleven and Baddies, live.

22nd February – Amber Liu: No More Sad Songs Tour

Former member of K-pop girl group f(x) and global superstar Amber Liu, is currently blazing stages around the world on her ongoing world tour called No More Sad Songs. The multi-talented performer has recently announced Asia dates as part of the tour, and Malaysia is included in the list.
Liu is set to perform in Zepp KL in February 2024, so do hurry and get your hands on a ticket to watch the artist perform her hits live including ILY, No More Sad Songs, and Can’t Go Yet.

24th February – F.T. Island: Hey Day

South Korean rock band F.T. Island will be dropping by Malaysia in 2024 as part of their Hey Day tour. Known for their passionate singing and heavy rock-pop scores such as Severely, Take Me Now, and Bad Woman, the trio is set to perform at Zepp KL on 24th February.

24th February – Ed Sheeran: The Mathematics Tour

The mastermind and voice behind those wedding aisle songs, Ed Sheeran has included Kuala Lumpur as a stop in his much-awaited +-=÷× Tour, or the The Mathematics Tour. The critically-acclaimed British singer-songwriter will be crooning to his medley of hit singles at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in February of next year.
Not only will fans be able to cry to the hit-maker’s iconic songs live, including Shape Of You, Perfect, Thinking Out Loud and Photograph, they’ll also be treated to a special performance by guest performer and fellow English singer, Calum Scott.

4th March – Rod Stewart: Live in Concert, One Last Time Tour

British rock icon Rod Stewart will be performing at Axiata Arena for all his Malaysian fans in March 2024, as part of his Live In Concert, One Last Time tour. The legendary musician is set to serenade the crowd with a slew of his greatest classics such as Sailing, Maggie May, I Don’t Want to Talk About It, and Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?

5th March – Sum41: Tour of the Setting Sum

A bittersweet one – Canadian rock band Sum41 will be bringing their epic farewell tour to Malaysia this March, concluding their sensational 28-year musical career with their fans.
The Grammy-nominated rock icons have added a date for Kuala Lumpur, so fans will be able to experience the band’s journey through their final concert, titled Tour of the Setting Sum. Look forward to a night of nostalgia as the band serenades the Malaysian crowd for the very last time with hits such as In Too Deep, Fat Lip, Pieces, as well as tracks from their latest and last album Heaven :x: Hell.

6th March – Tom Jones: Ages & Stages Tour

Legendary musician Sir Tom Jones announced his Ages & Stages tour in Asia next year, with the icon making a stop in Kuala Lumpur on 6th March. As a veteran and a living legend in the English music industry, the Sexbomb and Delilah singer will be bringing to life his electrifying anthems at Merdeka Hall.

10th March – Dean & Tabber

South Korean R&B artists Dean and Tabber are set to perform in Malaysia this August. Dean, a highly-sought after hip hop musician, shot to fame after the release of his hit track Instagram in 2017. He has since collaborated with fellow popular Korean artists including IU, Taeyeon, Zico, and Crush. Joining him at this concert is fellow labelmate Tabber, a budding rapper who has been making waves in the past year with tracks such as 007 (Feat. Syd) and Being.
The duo is slated to perform at Merdeka Hall, so fans can look forward to a night filed with amazing hits from two equally amazing artists.
