Ambesten Noodle’s Sunshine Egg coffee drinks
Coffee trends have been colouring our lives – and coffee-drinking habits – during the pandemic, with dalgona coffee and McBassett being some of the popular ones we’ve been trying out so far. A new one that’s cropped up in China is egg biscuits served on latte drinks at McDonald’s outlets there.
While McDonald’s in Malaysia has yet to dish out the same biscuit topping for drinks, Ambesten Noodle in Subang Jaya is serving similar sunshine “eggs” made of meringue on their coffee drinks and teas. With how adorable the whole thing looks, they’re bound to brighten up your regular cup of Joe – and your mornings.

Common toppings for coffee drinks that come to mind are milk foam or whipped cream, which sweeten and add something extra to each sip. Egg biscuit toppings are a new one that’s bringing together 2 breakfast staples – sunny side up eggs and coffee – all served in a cup.
But don’t be fooled. While they look like the real deal – complete with egg white and yolk that’s ‘Gram ready – Ambesten Noodle’s “Sunshine Egg” biscuit is made of egg whites and icing sugar, whipped and baked to achieve the biscuit’s crispy and fluffy texture.

Have these biscuits as treats that melt and sweeten up hot coffee or milk tea, or as a snack to have on the side if you’re opting for cold options of coffee or milk tea instead.

They are available until the end of May 2021 at Ambesten Noodle in Subang. Only 100 of these egg biscuits are served daily too, so you’ll want to be quick to drop by and order one for yourself.
