FamilyMart rolls out Convenience Wear socks in Malaysia

It’s not just oden bowls and sofuto that’s available at our local FamilyMart outlets these days. You can now get a pair of the Japanese convenience store’s popular Convenience Wear socks featuring its iconic blue-and-green colour scheme, right here in Malaysia.

What is Convenience Wear by FamilyMart?

If you’ve ever popped into a FamilyMart in Japan, you’ve probably seen or even thought about buying something from their Convenience Wear.

FamilyMart first launched this konbini clothing line back in 2021, with the unisex striped socks being their first clothing product being sold on the shelves of their stores throughout Japan. Since then, the Japanese convenience store has expanded to have a shop in Tokyo that’s purely dedicated to their konbini fashion, which includes T-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, socks, and thermal wear.

Their clothing line made its first international debut in Taiwan, launched in late 2024, and is now in Malaysia.

FamilyMart’s striped socks are made from cotton and polyester, and come in two sizes, namely 22-25cm and 25-28cm. They feature the convenience store’s theme colours of green and blue that are recognisable even from afar. They also boast other neat features, like odor resistance and cushion soles.

A pair of these socks cost RM14.99 and you can get them at any FamilyMart outlet nationwide.

Convenience Wear from FamilyMart now in Malaysia

With FamilyMart bringing a piece of their Convenience Wear clothing line to Malaysia, we have our fingers crossed that they’ll bring in even more types of socks – or even clothing. We won’t complain if they bring their entire clothing store here, so we don’t need to hop on a plane to Japan to get a pair of these socks or other konbini swag.
