Nearly 2 decades of being in the K-pop industry with a 7-year hiatus on his solo projects, but still relevant and still as cool as ever – that’s K-pop icon G-Dragon for you. And lucky for us Malaysians, we’ll get to see the BigBang rapper perform live on our shores this July 2025.

G-Dragon has recently announced a stop in Kuala Lumpur for his 2025 Übermensch World Tour, for not just one, but two whole nights of what’s sure to be an electrifying time.

Here’s everything to know about the upcoming world tour:

G-Dragon – a K-pop legend, idol of idols, fashion king, and member of the iconic boyband BigBang – teased a world tour announcement on his Instagram after dropping his highly anticipated third studio album Übermensch in early February 2025, which got VIPs extremely excited. Since then, Malaysian fans have been praying for their home country to be included on the tour list.

Upon finally unveiling the dates and locations for Phase 1 of his world tour, we found our prayers answered. The legendary artist is making his way to Kuala Lumpur and will be sticking around for two nights, on 19th and 20th July.

The concert is set to take place at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, and fans can anticipate G-Dragon’s magnetic stage presence coupled with striking visuals as he performs his slew of crowd-pumping and emotional discography which includes hit tracks such as Too Bad, Power, Crooked, and Crayon.

The first phase of the upcoming tour is slated to kick off at the iconic Tokyo Dome, and will continue to span other seven major cities across Asia, including Kuala Lumpur. Here are the full details of the cities, concert venues, and dates for Phase 1 of the 2025 Übermensch World Tour:

  • Tokyo, Tokyo Dome: 10th-11th May (Sat-Sun)
  • Bulacan, Philippine Arena: 17th May (Sat)
  • Osaka, Kyocera Dome: 25th-26th May (Sun & Mon)
  • Macau, Galaxy Arena: 7th-8th June (Sat & Sun)
  • Taipei, Taipei Arena: 12th-13th July (Sat & Sun)
  • Kuala Lumpur, Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil: 19th-20th July (Sat & Sun)
  • Jakarta, Indonesia Arena: 26th July (Sat)
  • Hong Kong, AsiaWorld-Arena: 9th-10th August (Sat & Sun)

How to get tickets to the G-Dragon 2025 Übermensch World Tour


Fans can now gear up for ticket access as the highly anticipated presale and general sale dates have been announced. While the official membership presale starts on 26th May from 4pm onwards, only members who have completed the G-Dragon Official Membership Presale Survey via gdragon.ai will be granted access. The registration period of this survey runs from 12th to 14th May 2025.

Hong Leong Bank customers will have access to a special HLB presale which opens on 27th May from 3pm and ends at 28th May at 2.59pm.

Following that, the General On Sales tickets will be available to the public on 29th May from 2pm onwards via Star Planet’s official website.

G-Dragon to drop by Malaysia for Übermensch world tour


The 2025 Übermensch World Tour marks G-Dragon’s first solo tour since the large-scale ACT III: M.O.T.T.E World Tour back in 2017, so understandably, we are all beyond thrilled to finally see the King of K-pop in the flesh in Malaysia – just be sure to get your wallets ready.
