Grand Trunk Road Food Festival at Pavilion KL
Beyond the dazzling kolams and traditional clothes, Deepavali is a celebration of love expressed through food. From spicy curries to delectable sweets, the dishes served during the festivities are something we look forward to sharing with loved ones at the table.
To help you kickstart the Deepavali celebrations with a feast fit for royalty, Barbeque Nation at Pavilion KL is hosting a Grand Trunk Road Food Festival from now till 10th November 2024. Over 100 dishes from Kabul to Kolkata are part of the limited-time buffet spread, which starts at just RM79+ per pax.
A buffet feast packed with South Asian cuisine
Grand Trunk Road Food Festival is part of Pavilion Feast 2024, which curates a list of restaurants at the mall and their star dishes. For Deepavali, five halal eateries are highlighted for the Keep Calm & Curry On Feast, including Barbeque Nation and its indulgent food festival.

A special menu has been prepared for the festival, which spotlights the rich flavours of regions along the Grand Trunk Road – Asia’s oldest and longest road that covers Kabul in Afghanistan, Peshawar in Pakistan, and Delhi and Kolkata in India.
Diners will get to indulge in the restaurant’s lineup of mouthwatering dishes packed with diverse flavours. There are over 100 dishes served from traditional push carts called thela, including mains like smoky Kabuli kebabs and desserts such as kulfis. A true cultural experience, tea is also presented traditionally in kulhads, or clay cups.
Festive activities will entertain diners during the festival too, including lively dhol and staff dance performances, as well as artisans showcasing their craft by making handicrafts like lakh chudi, or bangles, live.
The festival is on till 10th November, with prices starting at RM79+/pax from Mondays to Thursdays and RM84+/pax on the weekends. The buffet is available daily during the festival from 6pm-10pm, with special lunch buffet hours from 12pm-3.30pm on the weekends and public holidays.
