If you’re new to the Big Bad Wolf phenomenon, think of the Hot Box Sale as a creative twist on a traditional book fair. Instead of paying per title, visitors choose a specially sized box and fill it with as many books as they can before sealing the lid.
Each box comes with a flat price regardless of the number of titles inside, meaning avid readers can maximise every inch of space with their favourite genres.

The Big Bad Wolf Hot Box Sale returns from 7th to 15th February 2026, offering endless stacks of books and irresistible bargains. It opens at Hextar World, Empire City, inside the mall’s Exhibition Hall on the ground floor.
Doors open from 10am to midnight, daily. It’s a first‑come, first‑served event, so early arrival is recommended for the best selection.
Box options range in size and capacity, with affordable choices for different appetites:
- Small Box (RM99.90, minimum of 15 books)
- Big Box (RM129.90, minimum of 25 books)
- Combo Alpha (RM199.90, for one big box and one small box)
- Combo Omega (RM299.90, for three big boxes)
