KFC collabs with Butterbear
If you’ve seen the KFC x Butterbear collab in Singapore last year and had your fingers crossed that it would turn up in Malaysia, you’re in luck. Thailand’s beloved Butterbear has hit local shores with another food-related collaboration, this time with KFC Malaysia, bringing fans Butterbear keychains as an add-on purchase with any combo meal ordered from the fast-food chain.
Blind box surprise & cute stickers
Butterbear is collaborating with food chains left and right, including local coffeehouse ZUS Coffee. Now, she’s taking over KFC Malaysia outlets with adorable keychains and stickers. These cute merchandise items are sure to make you crave a fried chicken meal – and maybe some egg tarts, too.
Available in four designs, the KFC x Butterbear Keychain Charm Blind Box features Butterbear in different KFC-themed getups: Egg Tart, Zinger, Bucket, and Drumstick. The weighted keychain figurines are worth the price. Each one is made of hard plastic and coated in a fuzzy material similar to Sylvanian Families figurines. They also have a slightly matted look, contrasting with the shiny plastic.
Strapped to each collab keychain is a KFC strap with a black plastic hook to hang on your bag, or on your jeans to make an adorably hip fashion statement.
The stickers are equally cute and feature all four KFC Butterbear looks with a few other cutesy decorative stickers that reflect the collab. You can get this free sticker sheet with a purchase of any Chicky Meal Combo.
How to get the KFC x Butterbear Keychain Charm Blind Box?
To get the keychain blind box, you can order through the KFC app or at an in-store kiosk. The merch is only available with every purchase of any combo meal. Once you have chosen the combo meal of your choice, you can find an option to add the blind box for RM39.90.
Since it’s a limited merchandise, the charms are available while stocks last.
These charms are also available at selected stores only. To figure out if the nearest KFC to you has the collaboration or not, you can check the website or app and choose the outlet location. If the Butterbear Chicky Meal is unavailable, likely, the Butterbear collaboration is not available at that location.
