This establishment is typically packed with patrons during lunch and dinner time, so be prepared to queue up, or arrive early instead to avoid the dash for BKT here.

Weng Heong’s soupy bak kut teh comes with a mix of pork cuts such as pork belly, legs, and ribs. Swimming in the soup are mushrooms, tofu puffs, and fresh lettuce on top to help cut through the pork’s fattiness.

Meanwhile, the dry bak kut teh comes with a generous amount of slivered dried cuttlefish and dried chillies that give the dish a nice kick of aroma and flavour.
