Say no more as you make your way down to GMBB KL, and soak in the creativity at the 4th annual art event of Kuala Lumpur Illustration Fair 2026 (KLIF). Happening from 1st to 3rd May 2026, this event is a must-visit for anyone who loves illustrations, comics, and all things visually pleasing.
From browsing unique art pieces to meeting talented artists from all over the world, KLIF 2026 will be a great way for you to experience the creativity of both local and international talents, what’s more, on Malaysia’s Labour Day itself.
What is Kuala Lumpur Illustration Fair all about?

Since its debut in 2023, KLIF has grown year by year, with its last edition boasting over 19,500 visitors and 180 artists. This year, the fair will be nothing short of amazing as well, with local and international artists bringing over their pride and joy, which includes a variety of self-illustrated artworks on T-shirts, comics, keychains, and posters.
In collaboration with 6 Southeast Asian countries, KLIF will be the first stop of the Southeast Asia Illustration Council, featuring exclusive artworks by our SEAblings. The tour will continue throughout the year with fairs in Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Cambodia, and Manila as the last stop in 2027.
What to expect at Kuala Lumpur Illustration Fair

Returning for its 4th edition, KLIF starts from 1st to 3rd May, which is perfectly timed to coincide with the Labour Day long weekend. Visitors can expect to meet lots of Malaysian talents and foreign artists face-to-face, hear the stories behind their work, and understand the creative process.

As for the art, you’ll be stunned at the variety on display, which includes pixelated designs, hand-drawn sketches, abstract creations, and hyper-realistic illustrations.

Apart from browsing through the artworks, visitors can also expect an array of interactive and hands-on experiences to join in on, including workshops and insights from creative individuals.
What tickets should I get?

Tickets for KLIF 2026 come in three options, varying in terms of the amount of days you plan to visit the fair:
- Early Bird (One-Day Pass): RM15 per adult
- Normal One-Day Pass: RM20 per adult
- Three-Day Pass: RM45 per adult
- Children below 12: Free entry
As of now, a 25% discount is granted for early bird purchases. Tickets can be purchased online on KLIF’s official website or purchased in-person at the venue on the day itself.
Getting to Kuala Lumpur Illustration Fair
KLIF is located in GMBB KL, which can be reached via public transport. You can alight at any of the nearest stations, which are Bukit Bintang, Plaza Rakyat or Hang Tuah. Videos are available on the GMBB website to guide you on the route to GMBB.
If you will be driving your own vehicle, cashless parking is also available at GMBB.
