Man helps elderly uncle who met with an accident at highway
Malaysia is home to many kind souls who constantly touch our hearts with their good deeds. From time to time, we have heard of many heartwarming stories of Malaysians helping those in need such as this lady who bought sanitary pads for a 12-year-old girl and these traffic cops who rescued a family of three from being washed away on the Klang River.
Of late, a Malaysian man is going viral for his thoughtfulness in helping an elderly uncle who met with an accident on a highway and for reminding people to take note of emergency contact numbers in times of trouble.

On 30th August 2021, netizen Zulkamal Azizi Bin Ramlan updated his Facebook page with a post about helping an elderly uncle who waited on the road for an hour after an accident. In the viral post that has garnered over 2,300 reactions and 8,000 shares, Zulkamal tells people the importance of having emergency contact numbers while driving.
“Pity this uncle. He met with an accident and was looking for help for one hour. Sadly, nobody pulled over to help him. Then, when I passed by, he waved his hands for help. I asked him if he had called the PLUS Helpline or not but he said he doesn’t know the number,” he wrote, adding that whenever he sees an accident on the road, he would often call the emergency helpline as he’s worried drivers might be clueless of what to do next.

“Maybe now you guys may think it’s not a big deal, but when it happens to you then you will know how important it is. So, please do take note of this emergency helpline and share it with others. It can come in handy one day,” he said.
Several netizens commented on the post thanking Zulkamal for his kind gesture and for sharing the information about remembering emergency contacts with them.
