The animated film, which has MVP shooter Steph Curry as a producer and voice actor, takes place in an anthropomorphic animal world with Will Harris as the protagonist. He is a young goat who aspires to join an elite basketball team. However, he faces the challenge of trying to triumph over large opponents to make the team.

2. Wuthering Heights
Director Emerald Fennell is bringing Emily Brontë’s gothic masterpiece Wuthering Heights to the big screen, with a star-studded cast: Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. The film is expected to follow the novel closely, with Heathcliff, a working-class man, falling in love with the daughter of a wealthy family in 18th-century England.

6. Project Hail Mary
Adapted from a novel by Andy Weir, Project Hail Mary tells of Ryland Grace, portrayed by Ryan Gosling, a middle-school science teacher, who wakes up stranded in space with no memories of how he got there. No spoilers here, but the film’s main plot unfolds when he discovers that he was sent into space to find a cure for the Sun and save humanity.

7. The Mummy
Lee Cronin is bringing The Mummy back to cinemas. The movie will feature the original cast from the 1999 film, namely, Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. This Greek mythology tells the story of Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, and his 20-year journey home after his victory in the Trojan War.
This film stars several well-known Hollywood actors, namely Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, and Robert Pattinson. While their roles are yet to be revealed, it is confirmed that Matt Damon will star as Odysseus, and Tom Holland will star as Telemachus, Odysseus’s son.

We have been pleasantly surprised by the news of a new Narnia movie, since the last film was released in 2010. This time, it is based on C.S. Lewis’ sixth book in the Chronicles of Narnia series, Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew. Chronologically, the events in this book take place before The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, making it a prequel to the existing Narnia films.
Directed by Greta Gerwig, the movie stars Emma Mackey, Carey Mulligan, and Meryl Streep. A streaming release by Netflix in December will follow the November theatrical release.

18. Werwulf
Film director Robert Eggers is back with another supernatural movie, Werwulf. This time, he casts Willem Dafoe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Lily-Rose Depp as the central characters. Eggers is known for his previous works: The Witch, The Lighthouse, and Nosferatu. From his work, many hold high expectations for this project.
With the movie title “werewolf” spelled with the Middle English spelling, the characters will speak in Middle English, further immersing the audience into the setting of the film.

19. Wildwood
LAIKA Studios is known for its stop-motion films such as Coraline, Paranorman, Kubo and Two Strings, and The Boxtrolls. This year, they’re coming out with another stop-motion film called Wildwood, starring Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Jacob Tremblay, Mahershala Ali, and Angela Bassett.
Based on a children’s fantasy novel of the same name by Colin Meloy, Wildwood follows Prue McKeel and her classmate, Curtis Mehlberg, who venture into a magical forest to rescue her baby brother. While there is no set theatre release date, director Travis Knight has confirmed that Wildwood will be released sometime in 2026.

The end of Spider-Man: No Way Home had fans questioning how Peter Parker would navigate a world that has forgotten his identity. If you’re wondering the same thing, your questions will be answered in this upcoming sequel film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, on 30th July.
While the plot is yet to be revealed, producers Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige wanted Tom Holland to reprise his role in this sequel to showcase a Spider-Man different from the Homecoming trilogy.
The end of No Way Home introduces the audience to a tone shift where Peter gets a chance to start over as a “proper” Spider-Man, similar to that of Toby Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men. This tone shift is followed by the casting of Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, Michael Mando as Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the movie will bring together the Avengers team, the Wakandans, the New Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men, in a fight against Dr Doom. This movie serves as a sequel to Avengers: Endgame (2019) and follows the events of other Marvel movies taking place in between the two films.
